Autumn water waves.

What is amorous glances? Of course it is autumn water, the ripples of lake waves in the autumn wind, clear and rippling. However, in the ancient poems, this autumn wave has evolved into a woman's eyes. It is said that "the eyebrows are like green mountain daisy, and the eyes are like autumn waves." The first person to use the meaning of "Qiubo" was Li He, a poet from the Tang Dynasty. In Li He's "Tang Children's Song", there is a wonderful line: "The bones are heavy, the god Hantian is a temple weapon, and a pair of pupils can cut the autumn water." The double pupils cut the water, describing the clarity of the eyes. It is impossible to verify whether the earliest source of Qiu Bo is these two lines of poems by Li He, but after that, more and more people refer to the eyes of beautiful women as Qiu Bo or Qiu Shui.

Later, Su Shi of the Song Dynasty wrote this allusion into the poem "Hundred Steps of Hong". There is a sentence: "The beautiful woman refused to return her eyes, and the young father (referring to Xie Kun) wanted to talk to prevent the flying shuttle." Later generations used " "Autumn waves" describes a beautiful woman as clear as autumn water.
