The cold kiln is located in a ditch east of Qujiangchi in the south of the city. This is a legendary drama Five Points Slope (Wang Baochuan). In the Tang Dynasty, Wang Baochuan, the third daughter of Minister Wang Yun, rebelled against feudal marriage and fought for freedom of marriage. Loyal to love, she stayed in the cold kiln for 18 years, suffering from human sufferings, and finally stayed in the place where her husband Xue Pinggui and Wang Baochuan reunited in Chang 'an.
At present, there are Zhenlie Hall, Wang Fu Pavilion, Xue Pinggui Hall, Wang Baochuan Hall and Pinggui Bieyao in the cold kiln from the entrance to the ditch. Statues such as "Wang Baochuan Digs Wild Vegetables" and "The Queen Mother Explores Kilns". It has become a popular tourist spot in the suburbs south of the city, especially when the spring is bright, which often attracts many good men and women to worship and watch.
Legend has it that there was a prime minister in the Tang Dynasty who gave birth to three daughters. The youngest daughter, Wang Baochuan, fell in love with poor Xue Pinggui. Parents arbitrarily stop, Wang Baochuan disobeyed orders, and just married Xue Pinggui, he ran away from home and lived in a small cave near Qujiangchi, leading a poor life. Soon, Xue Pinggui was ordered to join the Western Expedition, leaving only Wang Baochuan to live in a cold kiln and live in poverty. Xue Pinggui is 18 and Wang Baochuan is 18. During this period, his mother came to the cold kiln many times and tried hard to persuade him. Wang Baochuan remained faithful and eventually they were reunited. The plot festival is not complicated, but it is very touching, widespread and influential. More than 10 operas have been transplanted from China, and they have traveled to Britain with English translations. It is because this story is widely known that Qujiangchi is even more famous. Cold kiln has become a symbol of loyal love. There is a statue of Wang Baochuan in the newly-built cold kiln, which attracts many tourists to see this shrew. There is a couplet in the cold kiln, which is worth seeing:
In eighteen years, there was no wave in the ancient well, which is unique to such a fierce woman as Jeong Won; ? For thousands of years, the cold kiln has been facing the sun. Look at the flowing water in Qujiang here, which shows Bing Xin.
