After Qianlong ascended the throne, he encountered trouble in the location of the mausoleum. He wants to be a dutiful son, stay with his father Yongzheng after his death, and sleep beside his grandfather Kangxi. what should he do ? On this issue, the minister dare not say a word, for fear of offending the emperor, there will be no good fruit to eat, and maybe he will lose his job.
After many considerations, Qianlong finally built the mausoleum in the Qing Dongling for two reasons. First, Kangxi is not only the grandfather of Qianlong, but also the most admired person in his life, which can be seen from Qianlong's imitation of Kangxi's many trips to Jiangnan. Second, if Qianlong is buried in the Qing Xiling, his descendants will certainly follow him. In that case, the Qing Dongling will be a little embarrassed. There are only two mausoleums, Shunzhi and Kangxi, and there are not enough people playing mahjong.
In order to make the later emperors worry about the location of the cemetery, Qianlong formulated a clear regulation, that is, the so-called "Zhao Mu Xiang Jian", which not only failed the ancestors, but also solved many troubles. What is Zhao Muxiang Jian? According to the ancient patriarchal clan system, if the father is on the left, the son must be on the right, so the grandson is on the left ... always in the order of "Zhao Mu".
Therefore, Qianlong stipulated that the Qing Dongling was "Zhao" and the Qing Xiling was "Mu". Before he died, he left an ancestral training, asking future generations to abide by the practice of "Zhao Mu Xiang Jian", and no one could violate it, otherwise he would be dragged down to play mahjong. Jiaqing is very obedient. Immediately after he ascended the throne, he found himself a place in the Qing Xiling, where he was buried after his death and played with Yongzheng.
Because Jiaqing's tomb is in the Qing Xiling, his son Daoguang's tomb cannot be chosen here, otherwise it would be disrespectful to Qianlong. At first, Daoguang did set the cemetery in the Qing Dongling according to Grandpa Qianlong's request. Later, why didn't Gu Zuxun move to Qing Xiling? According to the draft of Qing history, after the completion of the mausoleum, Daoguang personally went to check and accept it.
I didn't know it at first, but I was shocked when I saw it. There was water in the underground palace, which means it belongs to the bean curd residue project. Daoguang became angry on the spot and called the minister in charge of the matter. After a flood, he was dismissed from his post for investigation, and no one was spared. Later, he was ordered to send someone to investigate the Qing Xiling Mausoleum, rebuild a qualified mausoleum, and let the Ministry take out nearly five million and two thousand pieces of silver. Wood carvings are all made of precious golden nanmu, not ordinary luxury.
Daoguang went to great pains and even went against the teachings of his ancestors and visited the Xiling. Is it really just because the cemetery previously booked is unqualified? This is not as simple as it sounds. Daoguang once said: the emperor Kao Ren Zong Rui, the emperor from filial piety to Shurui, the queen Feng 'an Changling ... come down in one continuous line, the son and the minister depend on each other and fulfill their long-cherished wish! The meaning is not difficult to understand. Daoguang wanted to be buried next to his parents. Other reasons are just excuses.
