Does Pomeranian estrus start from Watergate swelling or bleeding?

Bitches will be in estrus after sexual maturity, and symptoms such as restlessness and loss of appetite will appear at this time. The most obvious feature is vulvar bleeding. But the amount of bleeding varies with the breed of dog. Some dogs unconsciously enter estrus without bleeding at all. Most of these dogs are small dogs. Some breeds have little bleeding, and dogs lick it off by themselves, which is difficult to tell. The car mainly observes carefully.

The estrus of a bitch can be divided into three stages, and this period that needs the careful care of its owner lasts for about one month:

Preestrus: Preestrus refers to the period from bleeding to mating, usually 7- 10 days. During this period, the egg is close to maturity, and the amount of hormones secreted by the egg cells also increases, which is characterized by vulvar swelling and bloody mucus flowing out of the vagina. But at this time, bitches are not allowed to mate with male dogs.

Estrus: Estrus usually lasts about a week, the vulva continues to swell and soften, the vagina secretes crimson mucus, the color gradually fades, and the amount of bleeding decreases or stops. When someone gently touches her hips, the bitch will deflect her tail from side to side. At this time, the bitch allows the male dog to mate. 2-8 days after entering estrus, the bitch begins to ovulate, which is the time for easy mating.

Late estrus: In the late estrus, the external symptoms of the bitch disappeared, the labia gradually returned to normal, the dog's temperament was quiet, the vaginal mucus secretion decreased, and the bleeding stopped (generally lasting about 2 months). If the bitch is pregnant, she will enter pregnancy.
