S \u( sρmγ): the surname of the Western Jin Dynasty, one of China's surnames, is a compound surname. Originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty, taking the official position as the surname. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, Sima, Situ and Sikong were also called "Three Divisions". Ranked No.410 in the Song version of Hundred Family Names.
The total population of Sima family is not among the top 100 surnames in Chinese mainland and Taiwan Province Province 100, and the population of Sima family ranks 549th with 28,000 people.
Sima's family originated from the official position, from Cheng Bo, the minister in charge of military power in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and belonged to the official rank. Divorced from his father, married Anding Hu's daughter, and gave birth to two sons: the eldest son Zhong Geng and the second son Zhong Xin. Later, Zhong Geng's stepfather Sima, whose descendants took the official title as their surname and called Sima, was the ancestor of Sima; Zhong Xin inherited Hou Anding, who moved to Taiyuan and still called it.
This branch of Sima's family comes down in one continuous line with Cheng's family, with a history of more than 2,700 years. Everyone in this Sima family respects their fathers (Feng's father and Cheng's father) as ancestors.

Sima Ying (279-306) was born in Wenxian County of Hanoi (now Wenxian County of Henan Province). The sixteenth son of Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty, and the half brothers of Sima Zhong, Emperor Hui of Jin Dynasty, and Sima Chi, Emperor Huai of Jin Dynasty. Born mother Cheng Cairen, Wang Zhiyi and the Eight Kings of the Western Jin Dynasty in the Eighth Imperial Clan Rebellion.
5. Sima Xiangru
Sima Xiangru (about BC 179-BC1kloc-0/8) was born in Chengdu, Shu County. His ancestral home was Zuo Fengyi and xia yang (now south of Hancheng, Shaanxi Province), and he once lived in Pengzhou (now Peng 'an, Sichuan Province). He was an outstanding representative of China's culture, history and literary history. There are obvious Taoist thoughts and immortal colors.
