Ren Farong, male, 1935, from Tianshui, Gansu, is the president of the 7th Taoist Association. His grandfather was a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, who was quite proficient in Confucianism and made a living by teaching. Under the influence of my grandfather's education, my mother also read through the four books of Confucianism and often read classic books of Buddhism and Taoism. 1950 became a monk and studied Taoism. Born in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, he is a Taoist scholar, philanthropist, famous calligrapher, traditional culture expert and famous Yi-ology scholar in China.
He used to be chairman of the World Religious Peace Association, member of the Standing Committee of the China People's Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Religious Peace Committee of China, deputy director of the State Ethnic and Religious Committee, president of the Chinese Taoist Association, president of the Shaanxi Taoist Association, honorary president of the Shanxi Taoist Association, dean of the China Taoist College, and dean of the Taoist Temple Supervision Institute in Louguantai, Zhouzhi, Shaanxi.
