Pucheng belonged to Jia when he became king in the late Western Zhou Dynasty (827-782 BC). "Taiping Universe" in the Northern Song Dynasty records: "pucheng county has a good market." Chang 'an Zhi: "Jiacheng is eighteen miles southwest of the county."
During the Spring and Autumn Period (676-65 1 year ago), it expanded outward, occupied the central and northeastern Shaanxi, and entered the territory of the State of Jin. Jin set up a northern expedition in Xitou Township, pucheng county today.
