It was named after Qiliji, one of the famous hermits in the early Han Dynasty, lived in seclusion here. This place is located at the rime peak of the 72 nd peak of Taihu Lake, facing the rime Taihu Lake in the south, surrounded by mountains on both sides of the east and west, with excellent feng shui. It is really a Zen resort. In recent years, in response to the strong appeal of Buddhist believers, millions of Taiwan compatriots in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and overseas Chinese leaders from all over the world, in May 2007, with the approval of the people's government of Jiangsu Province, Kannonji was rebuilt in Wu Qili, Jinting Town on the scale of a national super-large religious site. At present, preparations are being stepped up and will soon reappear in front of the world.
