China Tansong Scenic Area is a top 100 photography scenic spot in Huangshan City and the largest Shuikoulin town in China. The ancient Shuikou forest in this scenic spot covers an area of 140 mu, just like a green barrier, sheltering the whole village from generation to generation. The whole feng shui forest covers the sky, and the ancient trees are towering, which is a spectacle. "Bird path is on the mountainside, with thousands of giant trees", which is a rare ancient "natural botanical garden". "Five Thousand Villages in Huizhou" published by Huangshan Bookstore in 2004 has a description of "seeing pine pools in deep mountains and old forests".

Tan Songren believes that Feng Shui forest plays the role of "hiding wind to get water" and protecting "life", so it is forbidden to cut down and destroy it. Fengshui Forest has been managed by Dai Ancestral Hall. Notice is issued every year, and it is forbidden to bring knives and axes into the forest. Dead wood firewood in the forest is only allowed to be picked up by lonely old people with bare hands, and offenders are punished according to clan rules.

Dai moved to the village for 14 generations. A long history of management and protection and unique natural conditions have formed such a spectacular ancient tree community today. There are many precious and tall ancient trees in the forest, among which there are more than 20 trees with a height of more than 20 meters, including fragrant fruit trees, rough-leaved trees, bark trees, rubbing trees, linden trees, Liquidambar formosana and Pinus massoniana. There are many kinds of trees, among which four big trees are the most prominent. It is recorded in the book Ancient and Famous Trees in Anhui: a big fragrant fruit tree, with a height of 23 meters, a bust of 1.35 meters and a projected area of 63.6 square meters, is still lush after more than 300 years in Cang Sang. Fragrant fruit trees have the ability of "sprouting roots and tillering", and the phenomenon of "single tree forming a forest" often appears. At 10 meter, there are two fragrant fruit trees with roots and tillers, both of which are 18 meter high and DBH is 20 cm. In addition, there is a big beech tree and a Betula luminifera. The former is nearly 30 meters high, the trunk is smooth, round and full, with the same thickness from top to bottom, and the age of the tree is over 100 years. The latter tree is 25 meters high and has a bust of 2 meters. It grows on the edge of the forest, with lush foliage and heroic spirit. There is also an old Ailanthus altissima with a height of 3 1m, a bust 1.8m, a branch height 16m and a crown width 10× 10m. Although this tree is old, it is still flourishing, and it "stands on its own feet and stands erect in the HarmonyOS system". Ailanthus altissima is a deciduous tree with wide adaptability. The ancient name "Ailanthus altissima" was recorded in Shan Hai Jing as early as. Its tree shape is particularly beautiful in winter, and countless branchlets gather evenly in the outer crown to form a mushroom-like oval tree shape. Whether it is the first frost or the first snow, it contains the exquisiteness and charm of ancient times. The geomantic forest in Tan Song has continued from generation to generation and is still flourishing, which is inseparable from the meticulous protection of the Dai people.
