Is karma accurate?

Buddhist "Three Worlds Cause and Effect Sutra" mainly talks about: three forms of the law of cause and effect cycle retribution

"Nirvana Sutra" says: "There are three retributions of karma, one is the retribution, and the other is the retribution." The retribution of good and evil is the retribution of suffering and happiness; the retribution of the second life is the retribution of the deeds in the previous life and the retribution of the present life, or the retribution of the deeds of this life in the next life; the third quick retribution is the retribution of the deeds done before the present." We understand the principle that karma has three retributions. Not only do we know that those who do bad things will eventually be repaid, but we can also truly do more good deeds and accumulate virtue, and those who do not do bad things will eventually receive blessings.

(1) Present retribution:

It is the retribution of this life for the deeds done in this life. There are blessings and misfortunes in this life. Some of this retribution will be in early years, some in middle age, and some in old age. Let’s talk about blessings first. As you can see, some people do not get any benefits from doing good deeds in their lives. This is because they did bad things in the previous life. In this life, they accumulate good deeds and offset the sins of the previous life. If they do too many good deeds, the sins of the previous life are offset. , so there are blessings in middle age and blessings in old age. To receive blessings early in life, one is that you did good deeds in the previous life and accumulated good deeds, or you did not commit many sins in the previous life, but you do good deeds and accumulate more merits in this life. The sins in the previous life are quickly offset, so you have to get early retribution. ? Disaster reporting also has three stages: early year reporting, middle year reporting, and late year reporting. For example, some people have sinned in previous lives, but do not do good deeds in this life and continue to do bad things, such as stealing, robbing, harming others, defrauding others, being jealous and ungrateful... As a result, they will be punished by the law or suffer from serious illness and injury in their youth. Waiting for disaster. Some people, because they have done good deeds in their previous lives, are like deposits in a bank that have not been used up yet. The bad deeds they have done in this life and the good deeds they have done in their previous lives will gradually offset them. You will get bad retribution every year. ? Some people are very good in their youth and middle age, but in their old age, other people in the family suffer disaster, or they are left alone, old, sick, without food, clothing, and no one to take care of them; or they become disabled in old age, or go to jail. The principle of sentencing and waiting for disaster is the same as getting disaster in middle age. ?

(2) Retribution in life:

It is the retribution of evil deeds in the previous life in this life, and the retribution of evil deeds in this life in the next life. This kind of karma is also divided into blessings and disasters. Some people have done good deeds and accumulated virtue in their previous lives, just like the money they deposited in a bank has not been used up yet, so they transfer it to this life for use, so they enjoy happiness in this life. Even though he enjoys happiness in this life, he still does good deeds and accumulates good deeds, just like the bank deposits are getting more and more, and the interest is getting more and more, so he will still be a person who enjoys happiness in the next life, which is a blessing. ? Some people have done too many evil things in their previous lives, or they have done evil things since old age, and cannot be fully reckoned with in this life, so they will be miserable in this life. If someone does not realize the evil done in the past life and the suffering in the future life, and continues to do evil, then he will continue to suffer in the next life. ?

(3) Quick report:

It means retribution comes quickly. For example, if you did something bad yesterday and you will be punished today, if you do something bad in the morning, you will be punished in the afternoon, or if you do something bad at nine o'clock, At ten o'clock there will be bad retribution. Karma is not only about bad retribution, but also about blessings. As long as you do good deeds, you will be rewarded quickly. ? There are two situations for quick reporting. One is that the evil done by this person in the previous life has not been completed in this life, but he has intensified it and done more cruel and inhumane things, such as killing and arson, stealing and robbing, and others. Some assassinated others, some sold drugs and took drugs, some sold fake wine and medicine to poison the masses, some engaged in bribery and corruption, some defrauded money..., so they were put on the trial stage of history, some were sentenced, some were shot, and some Or suffer disaster and become disabled, or death may be imminent. People who are ungrateful and do not repay kindness but instead do harm to each other. Such people are also particularly quick to receive bad retribution. For example, when a person is in a particularly difficult time, she has no food to eat or a house to live in, her children have no money to go to school, and her husband has lost his job. In this case, an old man comes out to help her arrange a job and lends her a house. She lives at home, has food to eat, a house to live in, and her children to go to school. Instead of thanking the old man for saving her life, she darkened her conscience and embezzled the old man's money. As a result, God has eyes, and she broke her hand. Look at you. Still greedy or not.

A quick report of a murder

There is another person who has had difficulties for many years and his friends have always helped him selflessly. But he always felt that 12,000 yuan a year was too little. He was greedy and had evil intentions. One day, he took the money given by his friend with one hand and wanted to harm his friend with the other. He extorted money. When his friends saw that he had a bad conscience, they warned him: "If you do this, you will be punished." As a result, not only did the family suffer a disaster, but the next day he suddenly broke his leg and was in terrible pain, and then suddenly suffered a strange illness. .

? There is another person who found a romantic partner. The partner regretfully said: "You are good at everything except that you have an eighty-year-old mother." After hearing this, he went home and sharpened his skills. took the knife and wrote a note: "Mother, it's not that my son is unfilial. You are over eighty years old and it's time for you to enjoy your blessings in heaven." Then hide the knife and note. The strange thing is that it was April, and the day was cloudless. Around 5 p.m., suddenly there was a heavy downpour under the dark clouds, followed by thunder and lightning. A thunderstorm beat the unfilial son who tried to kill his mother until he was bleeding. Lose your life. After the mother lost her son, she collected his belongings and found a sharp knife and a note under the pillow, and then she realized that her son was struck by lightning as retribution. Therefore, ungrateful people are very likely to suffer swift retribution. ? The above-mentioned examples of doing bad things and being punished quickly.

Report of quick blessings

Now let’s talk about examples of quick rewards for doing good deeds. There was an old lady named Zhang Xiuhua in a certain city. She lost her husband in her early years and her children had all died one after another. She was alone. She was afraid that she would not have a stable life in the future, so she wanted to commit suicide so as not to suffer the consequences while alive. After being persuaded by his neighbors, he did not commit suicide. ? In order that she would not suffer in old age, she burned incense and worshiped Buddha, recited the "Three Generations of Cause and Effect Sutra" every day, and often performed good deeds. In the spring of 1975, she was walking outside and saw an unconscious middle-aged woman passed out on the road, so she called a truck to take her to the hospital for emergency treatment. After the patient escaped from danger, the doctor told the patient: "Your life was saved by the old lady, and she has been guarding you these two days." After hearing this, the patient was so moved that he hugged Aunt Zhang and cried, thanking her for saving her life. Later, when the patient was discharged from the hospital, Aunt Zhang used her little savings to pay the patient's medical expenses and left without leaving her name or surname. ? Aunt Zhang’s money paid for the patient’s medical expenses, so her life naturally became tense. In order to survive, she went out to dig wild vegetables to survive. One day at noon, when she was digging wild vegetables in the field, she dug out something that looked like an iron ball. She didn't know whether it was copper or iron, so she sold it to someone who came to collect scraps. After the scrap collector paid a few yuan, he sold the "iron ball" to the scrap station. After the inspection, the purchasing personnel asked the waste collector where the "ball" was collected. The person explained the situation of the acquisition in detail. The leading comrades of the purchasing station at that time sent The two of them went to invite the old lady with the waste collector. The waste collector didn't know what the problem was, and explained many times: "I did buy it, and I never did anything illegal." "Don't worry, just take it." Please come and talk to the old lady." When Old Madam Zhang saw the waste collector and two other people coming to invite her, Monk Zhanger was also confused, so she had to follow him to the collection station. The station leader asked Aunt Zhang in detail how to dig "balls" After finding the location, he praised the old lady and said, "You have dug up a very valuable treasure for the country. It is the 'Pure Gold Flower Ball' of the Han Dynasty royal family. I will pay you RMB 80,000 now." "? There are many examples of doing good deeds and accumulating good deeds and getting quick rewards, both at home and abroad. The fact that Aunt Zhang did good deeds and saved people and got quick rewards is a strong proof that if you sow good causes, you will get good results, and if you sow evil causes, you will get bad results. The truth. ? All good and evil will eventually be rewarded. Some people think that they have done good deeds and never done bad things in their lives, but they have not received any benefits; Happy and prosperous life, they think that good deeds and bad deeds are the same. Some people not only do not insist on doing good deeds, but also do things that harm others and benefit themselves. Some bad people think that those who do good deeds and gain good deeds are fools, and there is no evil reward for doing bad things. , the more bad things they do, the bigger they get, from stealing an egg to stealing a cow, from stealing a penny to blocking the road, from embezzling a penny to embezzling tens of millions, from benefiting others at the expense of others to murdering others, But people who do bad things always overestimate themselves, thinking that they do bad things because they are unknown to gods and ghosts, and others don’t know if they don’t tell them. And they have forgotten that in the "Baojian Chapter": "The clear blue sky cannot be deceived." , I have predicted it without even thinking about it. Good and evil will be rewarded in the end, just fight whether they come early or come late." The "Surangama Sutra" also says: "Good deeds will be rewarded with good things, and evil will be rewarded with evil consequences. Don't say no to retribution because the time has not come." Why are there people They believe that people who do good deeds do not receive blessings, and people who do bad things do not receive bad rewards. The reason is that they do not understand that people's destiny is created by themselves and everything happens in a karmic cycle. Causal relationship. As mentioned above, although some people did a lot of good deeds but did not receive blessings, it was because the debts they owed in the previous life were not paid off, and the good deeds they did could not completely offset the sins of the previous life.

Some people do bad things and get no bad retribution, that is, the good things they did in the previous life are like money in a bank, which has not been used up. From a numerology perspective, the question of whether good deeds accumulate merit and evil deeds are repaid early or late is a matter of luck. question. For example, when a thief is lucky, it is not easy to be caught committing a crime, but when bad luck comes, his crime of theft is exposed and he is caught. This is "when the time comes, everything will be repaid." Think about it, everyone in the world, whoever harms others to benefit himself, who harms others, and who does bad things can escape evil retribution.

Edit this story about karma and retribution

Foreword

Buddhism talks about karma and retribution, and it is indeed true. Everything has a cause and must have a result, just like when a farmer sows seeds, beans will surely produce beans, and melons will produce melons. There is no falsehood. Looking at the world today, there are reasons why people receive blessings or suffer bad consequences. It is just because people in the world are not careful and observant! It has been recorded in books from ancient times to the present that the retribution of good and evil has not been punished at all. I have read secular stories, and every time I read about the blessings, I suddenly feel happy! Those who suffer bad consequences are all horrified. The cause and effect is as immediate as the sound of a drum, and the effects of good and evil are obvious. Therefore, I have selected "Karma and Retribution" to awaken the world. If you can understand it carefully and practice good deeds, you will receive great blessings! If you do bad deeds and your karma accumulates over time, wouldn't it be shocking to see retribution coming when all your bad deeds are full? However, the retribution of good and evil will be different sooner or later, and it will definitely come true when the time comes. But some people say: So-and-so did not do good deeds, but instead became rich; a certain family is kind and charitable, but its career is stagnant. What is the reason? This kind of situation is often seen. People do evil things and get rich just because their ancestors have accumulated good deeds and have strong virtues, which are reflected in their descendants, so they enjoy happiness. For example, if there is a deposit in a bank, you can withdraw it at will. However, if your virtues are exhausted and the deposit is withdrawn, your blessings will disappear. If you are a good family, if your ancestors have karma, although it is not going well at the moment, once the bad deeds are over, you will definitely be blessed. There is an ancient couplet that says: "If you do good deeds but do not prosper, your ancestors will have lingering disasters, and they will prosper after all the disasters; if you do evil and do not perish, if your ancestors have residual virtues, they will perish after all their virtues are exhausted." This is the reason. The deeds contained in this book are clear and eye-catching. If people in the world can change their evil ways and become good, their descendants will surely be prosperous and their fortunes will continue. So much. Yu Quji recognized hundreds of virtues and filial piety is the most outstanding blessing

1. Be filial to mother-in-law and children and grandchildren will become talents

Chongqing City, somewhere, there is a virtuous and filial family, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchildren* **There are four people, the family is harmonious, and the daughter-in-law is filial. My mother-in-law is 87 years old, her body is gradually weakening, her movements are slow, and she can't even take care of herself. She relies entirely on her daughter-in-law to take care of her, such as bathing and washing her in summer, preparing a heater for the severe cold in winter, and cooking and softening every meal with her own hands. Give; if the patient is sick, Chinese medicine can be used to treat the disease without losing the mother's will, and try to make the elderly feel happy and not depressed. Because his body was in an advanced stage of decline, he often couldn't control his bowel movements, so his daughter-in-law changed and washed them all. Regardless of the filth and smell, he never complained when serving his mother. What's even more commendable is that my mother-in-law suddenly fell and injured her right arm, so she was escorted to the hospital for treatment. After she was discharged and returned home, she still took care of her with every possible care. The old mother was in bed, but because she took a lot of naps, she was excited at night and had difficulty falling asleep. Her daughter-in-law felt that her mother was lonely and had difficulty sleeping for a long time, so she moved to sleep with her mother in the same bed so that she could talk, cheer her mother-in-law up, and make her mother-in-law feel lonely. Pleasure in the chest. Because she sleeps for a long time, she sometimes feels upset, so her daughter-in-law hugs the old man on the bed, presses the old man's back against her chest, lets the old man watch TV, and explains the storyline to make him feel at ease. It is true that if a family produces filial sons, their descendants will be prosperous. His grandson has been kind-hearted and talented since he was a child. He has been educated since he was a child and has made great progress from elementary school to graduate school and even to work in an important national unit. The whole family is happy. It can be seen that a family with filial friends has obvious blessings.

2. Gu Tao serves his father sincerely and does not deceive him

Gu Tao is a very filial person by nature. His father married a concubine and gave birth to two sons, whom he loved very much. Mr. Gu took teaching as his profession and dedicated all his annual salary to his father. In the spring of the Gengzi year, he was hired as a teacher in Zhang's family school. On the day he arrived, Zhang knew Mr. Gu's filial piety, so he gave him the whole year's salary at once and said to him: "Today I will pay Your father doesn’t know about the money given to you. Someone is selling fields here. You can use the money to buy fields. After the autumn harvest, you can get a few shi of rented rice. This is a good way to increase your income. Why give all your salary to Where's the father?" Gu Tai replied: "Father is the head of my family. All my salary and income should be allocated to my father in order to fulfill my responsibility as a son. How can I change my filial piety for a few stones and rice? How dare you use the money for personal use and deceive my father?" He accepted Zhang's entire salary and dedicated it all to his father sincerely and respectfully.

Because of Mr. Gu's example of filial piety, his sons all have good conduct. One son named Jiming passed the Jinshi examination when he was young and achieved an official position in the Imperial Academy. (Taken from the "Ancient Mirror on Moral Education") According to the Mahayana Buddhism's Heart and Earth Contemplation Sutra, Xiangqing said: "The kindness of a loving father is as high as a mountain king." The Confucian Filial Piety Sutra says: "There is no greater filial piety than a strict father." Like Mr. Gu Tai in this story sincerely respects his father, which can be said to be a great filial piety. Therefore, he was able to obtain a noble son. It is true that good deeds are rewarded.

3. The old monk taught us to do our best to be filial to our relatives

Yang Pu is from Taihe County, Anhui Province. He heard that Master Wuji, an eminent monk from Sichuan Province, had great spiritual conduct, so he said goodbye to his parents and went to Sichuan Province to visit his master and seek enlightenment. When I first arrived in Sichuan Province, I met an old monk who was over seventy years old and had a kind face. The old monk asked him: "Where are you from? What are you doing in Sichuan?" He replied: "I come from Anhui Province and want to Sichuan. Visiting the eminent monk Wuji and practicing Buddhism. The old monk said: "If you want to see Master Wuji, it is better to see the Buddha." Yang Pu asked: "I want to see the Buddha more, but I don't know where the Buddha is. I want to ask the old monk for instructions." Me, okay?" The old monk said, "Okay, then go home quickly. If you see a big quilt on your shoulders and shoes on your feet, that's a Buddha." Yang Pu listened to the old monk's words. Convinced, he rented a boat to return to his hometown and trudged on the road for more than a month. On the day he returned home, it was already dusk. He knocked on the door of his home and called for his mother to open the door. When his mother heard that her baby son was back, she jumped up from the bed with joy. She had no time to put on clothes and only put the quilt on her shoulders. Go up, put off your shoes in a hurry, and hurriedly came out to open the door and greet Ai'er. When Yang Pu saw his mother lying down in quilt, he suddenly realized that the old monk said that his parents were the living Buddhas. From then on, I try my best to be filial to my parents, and try my best to satisfy my parents in terms of material things; in terms of spiritual aspects, I try my best to guide my parents to eat fast, chant Buddha's name, and recuperate their mind. Later, Yang Pu lived a long life of eighty years. When he was dying, he recited four verses from the Diamond Sutra and passed away peacefully. The Buddhist "Taishi Sutra" says: If there is no Buddha in the world, treat your parents well. Treating your parents well means treating the Buddha. Gude said: "There are two Buddhas in the hall. I am angry that the world does not recognize them. They are not decorated with gold and are not carved from plum sandalwood. My parents are now Sakyamuni and Maitreya. If we can treat him with respect, there is no need to seek other merits." The Buddha also said in the Sutra of Forty-Two Chapters: It is better to respect the heaven, earth, ghosts and gods to seek blessings than to honor your parents. Honoring your parents is the most blessed and most manifested thing. From the above Buddhist scriptures and Gude's remarks, we can see that Master Wuji's teachings to Yang Pu are indeed reasonable. Nowadays, many people do not honor and support their parents when they are alive, and they are disobedient and unfilial in every possible way, making their parents worried and depressed. But after their parents passed away, they went on to do a lot of things, spending huge sums of money on Feng Shui, building luxurious tombs, burning large amounts of paper money, slaughtering animals for worship, etc. These are all behaviors that put the cart before the horse. Not only are they useless, but they will Adding to the suffering of deceased relatives. If you don't offer a drop of water during your lifetime, you will dig hundreds of springs in vain after your death. It’s worth readers thinking twice! People's lives are created by themselves; the second is how to create a good life for oneself; the third is to do good deeds

Good people will definitely be rewarded with good things, bad people will definitely suffer disasters, the benefactor must keep it in mind, please give points
