Because there is no thermostat, the antifreeze in it is always connected with the engine, which will affect the heater box and the heater box will also affect the engine. When the engine temperature is high, turning on the warm air is equivalent to cooling the engine, and the engine is fine. However, when the engine temperature is low, turning on the warm air will delay the engine temperature. The optimum working temperature of the engine is 80-85 degrees. Low engine temperature will not only increase fuel consumption, but also aggravate engine wear, because the fluidity of engine oil is directly proportional to engine temperature. The higher the temperature, the stronger the fluidity. Viscous oil will directly lead to increased wear. The main wear and tear of automobile engine is when the car is cold.
When the water temperature is low, warm up as soon as possible and cover the engine. At this time, turning on the warm air is equivalent to turning on the fan to blow the engine. Some cars, in order to raise the engine temperature as soon as possible, will control the intake volume of the intake compartment, such as some models of BMW, and its forward intake compartment will automatically close under certain circumstances to maintain a high temperature.
When the driver turns on the heating immediately after getting on the bus, he wants to warm the car as soon as possible, which actually has the opposite result, which will lead to the slow temperature rise of the engine. The correct way should be to let the car run for a distance first, then turn on the warm air after the water temperature rises, first use the internal circulation to raise the temperature, and then circulate outside to take a breath at the right time. Nowadays, in order to save costs, many automobile manufacturers omit the water temperature meter and use the water temperature lamp directly. In this case, the owner can turn on the heating and feel the temperature of the air outlet. If the air outlet is cold, it means that the water temperature is still very low. Turn off the heating and turn it on later. Experienced drivers can judge the water temperature of the car by the speed at idle speed. When the idle speed is very low, the water temperature is already relatively high.
When using warm air, try not to blow it at people, because people are easy to fall asleep in a relatively high temperature environment, which is not conducive to driving safety.
