What is culture?

People who read a lot may not be literate, and people who know a lot may not be literate. If a person has a culture, then this person must have:

Cultivation rooted in the heart; No consciousness of reminding; Freedom based on constraints; Be nice to others.

First, the cultivation rooted in the heart.

A person is calm, decent and polite, which is self-cultivation.

In ancient times, we often compared jade to a gentleman.

It is said that a gentleman is gentle as jade, bright and restrained, not dazzling, not showing off, modest and restrained, and not aggressive. This is cultivation.

The most important thing for the ancients to learn is self-cultivation. Only by cultivating self-cultivation can we manage the country and the world.

Modern people study to learn knowledge. As long as they get high marks, nothing else matters.

So now many people are grumpy and say hello rudely without saying a few words. Emotion always comes faster than logic, and temper is always much less than self-restraint.

No matter how many books such people read, they are not literate.

Second, there is no awareness of reminding.

A literate person must be an enlightened person.

Queue up consciously when you get on the bus, queue up consciously when you cook, give up your seat consciously when you see the old man, others enter the password to avoid it consciously, spit gum with paper towels, and go to the toilet one step closer.

Self-awareness needs no reminder. Only by putting yourself in others' shoes can you have conscious behavior.

Be considerate of the old man's poor health, so consciously give up his seat. Passwords are other people's privacy, so I consciously avoid them.

Confucius said, "Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you." .

If a person takes care of others with his heart, most of his behaviors are actually conscious without reminding.

But many people just don't realize it. Because they ignore the feelings of others and the emotions of people around them. Such people often leave a bad impression of being bossy.

Third, freedom based on constraints.

On buses, subways, high-speed trains and planes in China, although we don't know each other, it is easy to judge whether a person's quality is high or low.

The quality of speaking is low, the quality of listening to songs is low, and the quality of garbage after eating snacks is low.

Speaking, listening to songs and eating are everyone's freedom, but once your freedom affects the freedom of others, you cross the line.

In the public * * * area, people with quality whisper to each other, taking not affecting others as the standard.

Why is the contradiction in college dormitory so serious in China? Even poisoning roommates happens from time to time? Because personal freedom has no constraints.

Everyone else is asleep, you wash clothes thinly, others study quietly, you sing in the dormitory, of course, others are unhappy, and the contradictions in the dormitory accumulate bit by bit.

At present, most children in China are only children. They are little emperors and little princesses, and they do things by themselves. This is not a problem.

Fourth, be kind to others.

What is kindness is to let others be kind from the heart.

Kindness is not embarrassing, kindness is punishing the strong and helping the weak, and kindness is helping the poor.

Kindness is a subtle life experience. To understand everyone's feelings, it is a kind of trust and care to bring others with gentle attitude, calm mood, euphemistic words and concerned eyes at any time.

Kindness is the softest but also the most powerful emotion in human nature.

No matter how difficult it is, we must persist in kindness; No matter how lonely you are, you should stick to the dignity of your personality.

Everything is blessed by happiness. God will bless people if they have good ideas.

Plant a good seed in your heart and it will blossom and bear fruit one day.
