Li Yifu (614 AD ~ 666 AD)
In the eighth year of Zhenguan of the Tang Dynasty (634 AD), Li Daliang, the inspector of Jiannan Road, went out for a follow-up inspection. When he meets a talented person, he recommends him to the court. This person is Li Yifu.
At that time, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty was thirsty for talents, so he immediately summoned him and asked him to compose a poem on the spot with the theme of "Ode to Birds". Li Yifu blurted out:
"The colors are shining in the sun, and the music of the night is heard in the piano. There are such trees in the forest, and there is no need to borrow a skill to live in them."
After hearing this, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty was very satisfied. He said, "I have more than one skill with you." On the spot, he was granted the title of Supervisor of the Censor and served on the Jin Dynasty King Li Zhi. Li Zhi was the prince at that time.
In fact, Li Yifu is very talented, and he is not a treacherous person by nature. He once wrote "Chenghua Proverbs" and presented it to the prince, admonishing the prince, "Don't underestimate small kindnesses. Accumulate small deeds and be famous for yourself. Don't do trivial deeds. Accumulate small amounts and keep yourself upright." The prince wrote "Chenghua Proverbs" to his father. Tang Dynasty Taizong was overjoyed after reading it. An imperial edict was issued to grant Li Yifu 40 pieces of silk and asked him to participate in writing the "Book of Jin".
Later, Prince Li Zhi succeeded to the throne as Gaozong. Li Yifu was promoted to Zhongshu Sheren. Later, a bachelor of Hongwenguan was added. Sun Wuji, Gaozong's uncle, saw that Li Yi's mansion was too popular, so he asked Gaozong to demote Li Yi to Bizhou as a Sima. When Li Yifu learned about it, he hurriedly asked Wang Dejian, a member of the Zhongshu House, for advice. Wang Dejian said: "Wu Zetian is favored now and will soon be established as queen, but Gaozong is afraid of the ministers' comments, so he does not dare to speak. If you can help Wu Zetian, you can turn disaster into blessing!" After hearing this, Li Yifu hurriedly followed suit. He lied to Emperor Gaozong that making Wu Zetian the queen was what people wanted. Emperor Gaozong was overjoyed after hearing this. Not only did he give him a bucket of pearls, he also suspended the original edict and kept him in his original post. Li Yifu tasted the dessert of conspiracy and became Wu Zetian's confidant.
Li Yifu relied on Wu Zetian's favor and became a marquis, which made him even more delirium. There was a woman named Chun in Luoyang who was imprisoned in Dali Temple for a crime. When Li Yifu heard that she was beautiful, he secretly ordered Dali Chengji to absolve her of her crime and take her as his concubine. Duan Baoxuan, Qing of Dali, heard about it and reported it to Gaozong, but Gaozong settled the matter and let it go.
Zhongshu ordered Du Zhenglun to secretly investigate Li Yifu's evil deeds, but Li Yifu learned that a bad person had come to complain first. Gaozong then confronted the other two people, and they argued endlessly. Emperor Gaozong was impatient and ordered each of them to play fifty big boards. Du Zhenglun was demoted to the governor of Hengzhou, and Li Yifu was demoted to the governor of Puzhou. In fact, Gaozong wanted to favor Li Yifu, but he had to do so because he was afraid of the comments of the ministers in the court. But within a year, Emperor Gaozong transferred Li Liyi's mansion back to the capital and appointed him as Minister of the Ministry of Personnel.
Later, Li Yifu wanted to rebury his grandfather's cemetery. He did this firstly to honor his ancestors; secondly, he wanted to see if he could get better Feng Shui and improve his future generations. Officials at all levels, from the prince to the prince, rushed to give him gifts. Emperor Gaozong even issued an edict to "cry on the Censor's Day", which became a luxurious funeral unprecedented for princes and ministers since the Tang Dynasty.
At that time, Emperor Gaozong allowed him to mourn at home on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month. However, he took this opportunity to secretly climb to the left tomb to observe the Feng Shui. It was discovered that he was peering into the stars with the intention of plotting evil, and some ministers reported him to Emperor Gaozong. Emperor Gaozong was furious and investigated Li Yi's mansion strictly, removed all his titles and exiled him to Xizhou (today's Xichang, Jinchuan). His descendants were all expelled and exiled, and people across the country celebrated him. Later, Li Yifu became lonely and helpless, and became depressed and ill all day long. He died at the age of fifty-three.

As a result, the government was in chaos and the world was in turmoil.
During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, there were six important military towns from the northeast to the northwest border. Xuanzong appointed An Lushan as the military governor of three of them (Fanyang, Pinglu, and Hedong). An Lushan saw that Xuanzong indulged in wine and sex all day long, appointed Yang Guozhong and other villains, and was politically corrupt. He thought there was an opportunity to take advantage of him, so he secretly accumulated grass and grain, recruited troops, and actively expanded his power.
In November of the 14th year of Tianbao, Anlushan felt that the time was ripe and raised an army to rebel. He led an army of 150,000 people and drove south from Fanyang (today's Beiping area). On June 9, the fifteenth year of Tianbao, Tongguan guard Ge Shuhan, at the urging of Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guozhong, with his body suffering from a stroke, led the untrained recruits near Lingbao and Anlu Mountain in Henan. As a result of the battle, not only the entire army was destroyed, but Ge Shuhan himself was also captured alive, and Tongguan (located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province, known as Taolinsai in ancient times) was lost.
When Xuanzong heard that Tongguan had been lost and the rebels were approaching Chang'an, he couldn't help but panic. Instigated by Yang Guozhong, in the early morning of June 13th, with Yang Guifei's sisters and a few close associates such as Yang Guozhong, escorted by the imperial army (the army guarding the capital and the palace, also known as the Imperial Guard), they marched from the west side of the palace to Yanqiumen fled Chang'an in panic and rushed west to Sichuan. Later, An Lushan was ordered to conquer the Khitan, but he underestimated the enemy and suffered a disastrous defeat. The court martial was punishable by execution. Zhang Shougui was unable to protect him, so he had to be taken to Chang'an and executed by the emperor himself. When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty saw his extraordinary bearing, he loved him so much that he couldn't bear to kill him. Finally, he was ordered to be removed from his official position and spared his death if he served his crime. An Lushan seized the opportunity to flatter him and began to rise rapidly. He was named the Jiedushi of Pinglu, Fanyang and Hedong towns.

Yu Chaoenying performed meritorious service in escorting him and was promoted to the rank of inspector of the third palace. The general of the gate guard of the left prison knew that the internal servants could save trouble, so he took over the power in the palace and became the leader of the eunuchs. Suzong was wary of the various military governors who held heavy troops, so he did not set up a marshal. Instead, he used Yu Chaoen as an envoy to watch over the troops, control the armies, and assume the important task of superintendent of the nine military governors
Yu Chaoen is a villain and doesn't take his ministers seriously at all. Whenever the ministers discuss matters, he always makes irresponsible remarks and pretends to be wise. During a meeting of officials, Yu Chaoen said sternly to Prime Minister Yuan Zai: "The prime minister's responsibility is to adjust the yin and yang and settle the people. Nowadays, droughts and floods occur frequently, and the army's food supply is insufficient, so that the emperor cannot sleep well and cannot eat to his heart's content. How can you, the prime minister, Why don't you take the blame and resign to make way for the wise?" The prime minister bowed his head and said nothing. Only the doctor of the Ministry of Rites, Xiang Lizao, stepped forward and retorted: "The yin and yang are not in harmony, and the grain harvest is bad. This is your fault and has nothing to do with the prime minister. . Now the capital is fine, the Sixth Army is fully capable of guarding it, but a hundred thousand troops have been mobilized. As a result, the military rations are insufficient, and the officials are short of supplies. It's all your fault. The prime minister just said, "What's the crime?" After hearing this, he walked away angrily and said: "The prime minister formed a clique to harm me."
Later Suzong died and Daizong was immediately established. Yu Chaoen was still arrogant and domineering, and even Daizong looked down upon him. He often said: "Can I be left alone in the affairs of the world?" His adopted son worked as an errand in the palace at a young age. Because of his low official rank, he could only wear green official uniforms. Once I had a quarrel with my colleagues over work, and I complained after I got home. The next day, Yu Chaoen took his adopted son and said, "My dog ??has a low official position and is often bullied by his colleagues. Please give me purple clothes from the emperor." In order to curry favor with Yu Chaoen, someone took the initiative to offer the clothes without waiting for the emperor's permission. Although Daizong was unhappy, he had no choice but to go with the flow. But in fact, he felt very uncomfortable.
Prime Minister Yuan Zai learned that Yu Chaoen's favor was not as good as before, so he suggested to Daizong to get rid of this scourge. Yuan Zai appointed his confidant Zuo Sanqi Changshi Cui Zhao as Jing Zhaoyin, and bribed Yu Chaoen's confidants with large sums of money.
In the fifth year of Dali (AD 770), Yu Chaoen went to the palace to discuss matters. As soon as he arrived at Daizong, he deliberately asked him why he was planning something evil. Yu Chaoen was shocked when he heard this, but he had hundreds of guards to calmly defend himself. Just as he was explaining, Daizong gave an order, and soldiers led by Yu Chaoen's cronies seized Yu Chaoen and strangled him to death on the spot.
Zheng Zhu
When it comes to Zheng Zhu, even a three-year-old child in Chang'an City knows that he is older than the emperor at the moment. Is he older than the prime minister? The prime minister is the first rank of the dynasty, one person is inferior to the other, and he is superior to ten thousand people. Although the prime minister was big, he immediately shrank when he stood in front of Zheng Zhu. Every move, word and deed was made to look at Zheng Zhu's face. Zheng Zhu was unhappy and immediately asked him to step down. The emperor always listens to Zheng Zhu's opinion when something happens. If Zheng Zhu says it's OK, it's OK. If Zheng Zhu says it's not OK, it's not OK. Zheng Zhu can be said to be a political figure during the Taihe period.
What is Zheng Zhu capable of? His ability is beyond words. He knows everything, he is proficient in the three teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, plus the nine streams and the nine streams, he knows astronomy from above, geography from below, Yin and Yang Bagua, Qimen Dunjia, and is especially proficient in Fangzhongshu, which allows eunuchs to live a normal human life. The fake *** he pretended is as valuable as the original. So the eunuch liked him, and the emperor liked him even more. Otherwise, he wouldn't have such great power.
Zheng Zhu also has a specialty. Those who hate him, scold him, and want to kill him will immediately like him as soon as they meet him. Whoever he wants to like, that person must like him.
