1, Qingyan Ancient Town
Qingyan ancient town is located in the southern suburbs of Guiyang, about 29 kilometers away from the urban area. It is one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou, a military ancient town built 600 years ago. In the ancient town, the ancient buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties with exquisite design and exquisite craftsmanship are intertwined, and temples and pavilions are painted with carved beams and painted buildings, flying over eaves and walking on walls. On May 25th, 2006, Jiaxiulou, as an ancient building in Ming Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It really became the symbol of Guiyang. Jiaxiulou is a famous ancient pavilion, which stands on Wan 'ao Fan Shi of Nanming River in Guiyang (this stone looks like the legendary giant Ao).
Jiaxiulou was built in the 26th year of Wanli of Ming Dynasty, namely 1598, with a history of more than 400 years. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573- 1620), Governor Jiang Dongzhi built a dike here to connect the south bank and built a building to cultivate geomantic omen, which was called "Jia Xiu" and "Ke Jia Ting Xiu".
