Fangcheng County is a county under the jurisdiction of Nanyang City, Henan Province. It is located in the southwest of Henan Province, the northeast corner of the Nanyang Basin, the eastern foothills of Funiu Mountain, and the upper reaches of Tangbai River. It borders Wugang and Biyang County to the east, Sheqi County and Wancheng District to the south, Nanzhao County to the west, and Lushan County and Ye County to the north. It is the north gate of Nanyang City. The county is 72 kilometers long from east to west and 61 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of ??2,542 square kilometers.
