Fangcheng is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. As early as 7000 years ago, there were human activities in the Neolithic Age. The Great Wall built in Chu was named Fangcheng. It has a long history, beautiful mountains and rivers, rich tourism resources, and more than 80 scenic spots for viewing. It is the Neolithic site of Dushu Zhangzhuang Village more than 7,000 years ago, the earliest Great Wall in China-Chu Great Wall site, Tingwei Zhang Shizhi Temple in the Western Han Dynasty, the site of drinking horses and pouring wells in the Eastern Han Dynasty-Lian Zhen Palace site practiced by Liu Xiu and Princess Hu Yang, Fogou Cliff Statue carved in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Puyan Temple, one of the four famous temples in the Tang Dynasty, Songxiang Han Caoqu site, and Dushu Town Monument in the bloody battle of the Red 25th Army. There are Huangshi Mountain, known as North Wudang, and Zipuyan Temple, such as Qifeng Mountain, Dacheng Mountain, Sanxian Mountain and Wanghuating Reservoir.
Natural landscape. Among them, Zhangzhuang Village, Pinggaotai Ancient Culture Site, Chu Great Wall, Confucian Temple, Wang Bo Ancient City, Fogou Cliff Statue and Dushu Town Monument of Red 25th Army are provincial-level cultural relics protection units.
