Hu Zhenheng devoted his life to compiling the masterpiece Before the Tone of Tang Dynasty, which established his giant position in the study of Tang poetry in Ming Dynasty. There were only two episodes of Janice and Guiqian? Later, the signatures of A, B, C, D, J and G were added. Unfortunately, there are few biographies and a few pages are missing. The missing pages are supplemented by a manuscript signed by Xin and Ren. Engraving and manuscript are now in the Palace Museum in Beijing. Tang Yin Tong Qian was originally collected by the Fan family and entered the palace during the reign of Kangxi. In the forty-fourth year of Kangxi (1705), Ding Yu's Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty was compiled based on this book and Ji's Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty and other poems of Tang Dynasty.
Records of the History of Ming Dynasty, Records of Arts and Literature, and Summary of Sikuquanshu are all recorded, but the actual number of volumes is 3 to 12 less than that of Tonggan. Most of the catalogues of public and private books have two signature records, but not all of them. In the bibliography of rare Chinese ancient books, there is only one book, Tonggan, which is the one in the Palace Museum. It is a rare and unique book.
