When is the time of the land and water temple fair?

Every year on the 25th day of the first lunar month, it is a temple fair in Shuilu 'an.

Shuilu 'an, located at the foot of Wangshun Mountain, Puhua Town, east of Lantian County, Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a famous ancient temple of the Six Dynasties, famous for its exquisite and rare colored sculptures in ancient times, a treasure house of ancient sculpture art in China, and known as "the second Dunhuang in China". Surrounded by water on three sides, it looks like an island, with towering green hills and flowing rivers, so it is called the amphibious temple.

According to textual research, the temple was originally the lower hall of Wuzhen Temple in Tang Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Huaiyu, king of Qin, often traveled here. Because he likes the scenery here, Wang Fu built Feng 'an into a Buddhist temple, so he renovated it on a large scale.

Development history:

In the Ming Dynasty, Fan Qin King Zhu Huaiyu spent more than five years building a temple. More than 3,700 clay sculptures preserved in the Daxiong Hall of Shuilu 'an are known as "wall carving treasures".

Its pavilions, temples and pagodas are resplendent and magnificent, and the sky and the sky are the same, flying dragons and dancing phoenixes, leaping tigers, flowers, bamboos, insects and fish are vivid and delicate. It is a veritable oriental sculpture exhibition hall, and it is an artistic treasure integrating painting, architecture, music and sculpture.
