Tara is often used to pray for blessings in jade carvings in China. Tara has many kinds and different meanings. For example, Green Tara stands for career and good luck, White Tara stands for people's health and safety, and Red Tara is used to pray for people's marriage.
According to legend, Tara is the incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva, made of Guanyin Bodhisattva's tears. There are 21 Buddha statues, including the Buddha of Fensondoro, the Buddha of Wei Mengdoro, the Buddha of Jin Yan Doro and the Buddha of Ding Zun Saint Doro. According to legend, Tara is luxuriantly decorated, wearing five Buddha crowns and purple clothes to help the world solve disasters and problems, and all mortals will answer whatever they want. Twenty-one statues of Tara perform their respective duties and are responsible for assisting Guanyin Bodhisattva to save all sentient beings.
