2. The trial is allowed to attend, but it must be attended by the court. The cases that citizens request to attend should be cases that should be heard in public according to law. When a citizen participates in a public hearing of a case, he shall present a valid identity document to the court. The court decides the number of side hearings according to the court venue and the situation of those who wish to participate in the trial. Only by holding a side hearing can citizens enter the court to attend the trial of the case. If a foreign citizen requests to attend a public hearing, it shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions on foreign affairs management.
3. The following citizens are not allowed to attend the public trial, except minors under 18 approved by the court, mental patients and drunken people, and others who are not suitable to attend. Citizens should abide by the rules of the court when attending public trials. During the experiment, they should turn off their pagers and hand-held phones. They should not record, video or take photos. They should not walk around and enter the test area at will. Do not speak, ask questions, applaud, make noise or commit other acts that hinder judicial activities. They should take good care of court facilities and keep the court clean.
4. Citizens can attend public court hearings. When the number of people in the public gallery cannot meet the needs, the people's court may hold a public hearing in the order of application or by drawing lots or shaking numbers, but priority shall be given to the close relatives of the parties or other interested parties to attend the case.
Legal basis: Article 9 of the Rules of Court of People's Republic of China (PRC) People's Court is public hearing, and citizens can attend. When the attendance seats cannot meet the needs, the people's court may issue the attendance seats in the order of application or by drawing lots or shaking numbers, but priority shall be given to the close relatives of the parties or other interested parties to attend the case.
