Twenty-four Filial Piety Stories: Mulian Saving Mother

Manglietia's mother, Mrs. Qingti, is well-off, but stingy and greedy, while her son is very caring and filial. When her son is away, her mother kills livestock every day, cooks and chews hard, never cares about her son and never practices kindness. After her mother died, she was sent to the underworld and was severely punished. Mulian went to hell to see her suffering mother in order to save her mother from becoming a monk and gain magical powers. Eyes can't bear it, but with the sins of his mother before her death, she can't walk out of the hungry ghost road. The food she gave didn't reach her mouth and turned into charcoal.

My eyes are at a loss and I am very sad. I pray to the Buddha. On July 15th, the Buddha taught Manglietia to set up a bonsai society, and supported her mother with the help of ten monks. Manglietia was inspired by the Buddha, so there was a Buddhist story of standing on July 15 to support ten monks to turn over. Manglietia's mother was able to eat enough and was transferred to the world, and she became a dog. Manglietia Manglietia chanted sutras for seven days and nights, which made her mother leave the dog and enter the sky.

Such Buddhist stories can be spread from the Western Jin Dynasty to the present, and passed down from mouth to mouth. The key lies in the story to persuade people to be kind and to persuade their sons to be filial, with the metaphor of "inherit the wind".
