Inspirational story of the troubled young monk

There is a young monk in the temple. His job is to clean up the fallen leaves in the temple yard every morning. However, it takes a lot of time to inspire the little story: the troubled little monk.

Especially in autumn and winter, it is a headache for the young monk. He thought hard and tried every day to find a way. He also asked his disciples in the temple: How to relax himself.

Later, when the abbot learned about it, he talked to him. The young monk told the abbot what he thought truthfully. The abbot said to him, "shake the tree vigorously before cleaning tomorrow and shake all the fallen leaves down. It is estimated that it is underestimated, so there is no need to sweep the fallen leaves the day after tomorrow."

Hearing this, the young monk thought: The abbot's brain is still good. I've been here for so long, and I've thought of many ways, but I haven't thought of this yet. The next morning, the young monk got up early, didn't even wash his face, and ran to the backyard to shake the tree hard. He thinks he can clean up the fallen leaves today and tomorrow. After shaking it until he felt that it was almost enough, he packed up the fallen leaves and went back to eat happily.

The next day, the young monk came to the yard with a silly face: yesterday's efforts were all in vain, and the yard was full of leaves.

At this moment, the abbot came up to the young monk and said, Do you know why I gave you that idea? That is to let you know that no matter how hard you try today, the leaves will still float down tomorrow. The little monk finally realized that there are many things in the world that can't be advanced, and only living in the present seriously is the truest attitude towards life.
