Zhicheng College of Fuzhou University, located in Yishan Campus of Fuzhou University, Gulou District, downtown Fuzhou, Fujian Province, was approved by the Ministry of Education. In July 2003, Fuzhou University, a key university jointly established by the national "2 1 1 Project" and the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, was established as the main body, operated according to the new mechanism and mode, and implemented full-time undergraduate education.
By June 2020, the college has 16 teaching units and 44 undergraduate majors, covering leading industries, strategic emerging industries and traditional industries in Fujian Province, and has developed into an applied comprehensive university with coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature and art. The enrollment is about 12000.
