WTT World Table Tennis Professional League was founded by ITTF in August, 20 19, which is a milestone in the professional reform of table tennis in the world.
It aims to help ITTF upgrade and transform its competition system and business system with athletes and fans as the core, give full play to the potential of table tennis, further enhance its world influence, and thus stand out from other sports.
On June 29th, 2020, the World Table Tennis Professional League (WTT) announced that Liu, chairman of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, would be the newly established chairman of the board of directors to lead and explore the future of world table tennis.
