The 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup is a volleyball tournament held in Yongfu, Vietnam from April 25th to May 2nd, 2023.
Competition method
According to the competition system, the participating teams are divided into two groups, A and B, for a single round of competition. The top two teams in the two groups will advance to the semi-finals, and the remaining teams will rank fifth to ninth.
Competition grouping
On March 5, 2023, the 2023 Women's Volleyball Asian Club Cup was announced. China Club (note: the participating teams are unknown) is divided into Group B, along with Kazakstan, Thai Diamond Food, Mongolia and Hongkong, China.
There are 9 teams participating in this Asian Club Cup. The group stage is divided into two groups for single round robin, and the team with the top two in each group will advance to the semi-finals. Host Vietnam and defending champion Kazakhstan became the top seeds of the two groups respectively. Group A includes four teams: Vietnamese, Iranian, Japanese and China. Group B brings together five teams from Kazakstan, Thailand, China, Mongolia and China.
2023/2024 AFC Champions League
The first stage of the preliminary round: August 8, 2023. Group stage: September 18 to February 13, 2023.
Knockout: February 2024 12 to April 24. Two rounds of finals: May 2024, 1 1, 18.
AFC Cup in 2023/2024 season
Qualifier: August 2023 1 Group stage: September 18 to February 14, 2023.
Regional semi-finals: from February 2024. Single round final: May 5, 2024
Starting from the 2023/2024 season, the away goal rule will be abolished, and the winner will be decided through overtime and penalty kicks.
The Asian Football Club Champions League, commonly known as AFC Champions League or AFC Champions League, is an Asian club football competition held by AFC every year. The participating teams are from the 14 top leagues under the AFC, including Australia belonging to Oceania.
