Chongqing Nanchuan District has taken many measures to promote urban teachers to teach in the countryside.

Nanchuan District, Chongqing implements the interactive project between urban and rural school teachers, encourages urban teachers to teach in mountainous rural areas, improves the quality of rural education and promotes the development of urban and rural education.

Nanchuan district began to implement the pilot project of teacher interaction between urban and rural schools in 2003. It is stipulated that city school principals personally lead teaching and research personnel and academic leaders to give lectures, give lectures and make special reports at least twice in remote mountainous marriage schools. In each period, two groups of teachers of arts and sciences in mountainous areas take turns to follow up and study in the marriage school for two weeks without affecting the teaching, and organize eight primary and secondary schools in the urban area to "pair up" with eight schools in remote mountainous areas, and the interactive effect will be used as the annual performance evaluation of the school. Marriage schools * * * carry out quality and ability competitions such as drawing lots for students in exchange schools, setting texts, setting the time for preparing lessons for in-class competitions, and "three-character (pen, writing brush and chalk) competition", so as to improve teachers' quality rapidly.

In order to further improve the quality of rural education and promote the development of urban and rural education, Nanchuan District decided to expand the scope of group assistance, requiring urban backbone teachers to teach in weak rural schools on a regular basis to help teachers in their schools improve their quality, and stipulating that cities should be promoted first and strive to be backbone advanced teachers, and they must have a history of actively teaching in rural areas for one year within five years. At the same time, Nanchuan District is also preparing to implement the co-construction of urban and rural schools, set up a principal, rationally allocate educational resources, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers. In addition, a large number of new education funds are used to build soft and hard environments for weak schools, improve modern distance education facilities, and set up poverty alleviation funds to ensure that all rural children can go to school and enjoy the fruits of educational development.
