I. Significance of the activity:

As one of the series of sports cultural activities of Nanchang University College of Science and Technology, this college basketball tournament aims at promoting the construction of campus spiritual civilization and promoting students' all-round development, carrying forward the sports spirit, singing the main theme of the times, taking participation, performance and innovation as the core, and integrating knowledge, life, study, art and sports.

This basketball match is divided into men's group and women's group.

1, Men's Group: Men's Group is a department, and all disciplines are responsible for organizing competition registration. The boys' team consists of 14 department (China Language and Literature Department, Foreign Language and Literature Department, Political Science and Law Department, Journalism and Communication Department, Art Department, Economic and Trade Department, Accounting Department, Management Department, Mechanical and Electronic Department, Civil Engineering Department, Biochemistry Department, Computer Department, Electronic and Information Engineering Department, Automation Department) and self-taught central team * * 18. (There are 1 team leader and 1 team leader)

2. Women's Group: The women's group is organized by the discipline department, and each discipline department is responsible for organizing the competition registration. The girls' team consists of humanities, science and engineering, finance, information and self-taught examination centers (abstention).

V. Competition system planning

This competition adopts the latest basketball rules promulgated by FIBA. All participating teams draw lots to decide the game before the game.

1, the men's competition is divided into two stages:

The first stage (15 into 8): According to the lottery results, 15 departments and teams will be divided into four groups: A group with four teams, B group with four teams, C group with four teams, and D group with three teams. At this stage, the competition will adopt the intra-group round robin system, that is, each team will win a single round robin in the group.

The second stage: Eight teams, Aⅰ, Aⅱ, Bⅰ, Bⅱ, Cⅰ, Cⅱ, Dⅰ and Dⅱ, advanced from the first stage to the cross-knockout, and the winner advanced to the semi-finals. The rematch adopts the single defeat elimination system, the winner enters the final, and the loser participates in the final third place competition. (See Schedule 2 for specific competition arrangements).

(2) Women's team competition system

The women's team competition adopts the cyclic points system, that is, four teams play six games in a single cycle, winning one game with 2 points, losing one game with 0 points 1 minute, and ranking according to the level of points (if the points are the same, calculate the winning-losing relationship, and determine the ranking according to the gain and loss rate of three teams).

6. Registration time and place:

Please report to 1 student referee at the same time when submitting the basketball competition registration form, and be familiar with the rules of basketball competition (fill in the relevant information in the form). Students from all majors should summarize the application forms of teams in their major (timetable 1), and the time is165438+1Monday, October 8th.

VII. Competition Requirements and Precautions

1, requirements:

(1) Each team must wear uniform uniforms. The uniforms of each team must be marked with the number of each player (No.4-15) in a prominent position in front and in the middle position behind, and the color of the number must be obviously different from that of the coat. Try to match the uniforms of two colors, so as to avoid the similar colors of the uniforms of the two teams, which is not convenient for the referee to make a penalty.

(2) Each team is limited to 12 players (including 1 team leader) and 1 team leader.

(3) Strictly abide by sports ethics, play with fairness and justice as the principle, do not commit malicious fouls, and do not provoke conflicts.

(4) Respect all decisions of the referee, and do not attack or interfere with the referee.

(5) Before each competition, please ask the leaders of each team to sign an accident commitment letter.

2. Preventive measures

(1) The competition is based on the principle of "friendship first, competition second", and fighting is strictly prohibited in the competition. If such incidents occur, they will be handled in strict accordance with the relevant management regulations of the college.

(2) If you are dissatisfied with the referee's penalty during the competition, the team leader can reflect it to the organizer as a representative after the competition and apply for arbitration. Any conflict with the referee is strictly prohibited in the game.

(3) In case of emergency, if the team can't arrive in time to participate in the competition, it should immediately notify the organizer of the competition, and the team that exceeds 15 minutes will be treated as abstention.

(4) If the competition cannot be held in rainy days, the organizer will inform the venue and time of the competition separately.
