The little red book is a magic book that can summon jung.

Text /Lana

With this article, I would like to thank the master elder brother who introduced this book to me and hid it in the "Wukong Soul Garden" in the magic capital.

Meet the red book

When the master elder brother pulled out the book from the shelf and handed it to me, his hand naturally sank to the ground. It is too heavy. I'm afraid this book will be heavy to pick up and will become an ornament at home. Besides physically occupying the height of the bookcase, it is meaningless to look at me every day without talking to me.

Master elder brother seems to see my hesitation. Under his deep eyelids, a pair of spotlights swept at me and said solemnly and gently, this book doesn't need to be read at one go, understood at one time, or even read in order. The content of the book is independent, so you can open a page at will and read it easily.

I put the book on my lap with a grain of salt and turned it around at will, just like turning over a dictionary. At the bottom of each page, there are many notes about the source of main words and phrases, and there is also a strong mandala painting in the book, which was made by Jung before his death and has a mysterious atmosphere.

Jung is the father of analytical psychology. The little red book is also his new book. Jung's personal diary of self-analysis records his "self-experiments" from 19 14 to 1930. Jung's fantasies, dreams, truths and monologues are all in the book, and his own mandalas are all works of art. As mentioned in the title page, the little red book is more like a "book of time" picture book from the Middle Ages, which is unique.

Books, like people, have a destiny, whether right or not. I chose to take it with me and want to read it as a magic book. Jung recorded it bit by bit when he wrote it. When reading it, I also plan to randomly select from the catalogue and browse it bit by bit like a lottery.

What kind of book is the little red book?

It is difficult to describe this book in proper language. The general view is that it is a part of jung, and there is a dialogue between jung and the soul; It is the experimental record of Jung's self-analysis; This is a symbolic psychological masterpiece. After reading it, I kept my first impression and regarded it as a "magic book" full of symbols and spells. I hope that every time I open it, I can summon Jung, a great magician, to speak.

Carly Bijns, a friend of Jung's circle of friends, once commented on this book in the introduction of the red book, and the metaphor inside is very appropriate.

With the publication of the 60-year "Red Book"

Before Jung died, some of his patients and friends were lucky enough to read this book, and those who read it were very curious about it. The early manuscripts were also circulated in a small area, and Jung had been hesitant to publish this book before his death.

Forty-eight years after Jung's death, the original manuscript was compiled by Professor Sonu Shamdasani, a famous scholar authorized by Jung Heirs Association, and it took nearly 13 years to compile the manuscript.

Starting from 1990, the manuscript was compiled into German. In 2000, Jung Heirs Association decided to publish it publicly. At the beginning of 2009, the English version of the reader's edition was published by Norton Publishing Company. The book I have now is a translated Chinese version, which was printed by Machinery Industry Press in 20 17, claiming to be the most complete version, without deleting a word. Holding it in your hand, I still feel steaming.

Because of hard work, respect and prudence, the preface, introduction and comments of the translator and editor of this book add up to more than 90 pages. I read this part page by page in order to understand the outline of the book. The body part, * * * more than 300 pages, consists of the first volume of eleven chapters and the second volume of twenty-one chapters.

Chapter 21 Magician

The following passage was written by Jung in his later years as an introduction to this book.

It is mentioned in the editor's introduction that Carl Gustav Jung is an important figure in modern western ideological circles, but his works have always caused controversy. Jung spent no less than 16 years on this book. In order to show respect for the author and translator, I also intend to spend ten years reading it slowly.

Rong qiren

Jung was born in Caseville, Lake Constance, in 1875, and later his family moved to Lao Fen near the Rhine Falls. He is the eldest son and has a sister. His father is a Protestant priest in Switzerland. 1902, Jung got engaged to Emma Rauschenbach and had five children after marriage.

Young Jung had a conflict with us when he chose a career. Should he choose liberal arts or science? Finally, in order to make a living, he decided to study medicine. Even after entering the university, the contradiction in Jung's mind about the research direction of arts and sciences still troubled him, which he called the contradiction between the first personality and the second personality. So he was busy studying medicine while reading philosophy books intensively. I think of myself. When I make a decision, two different voices often appear in my mind. I call them imps and elves. None of this is a coincidence. They made me feel close to jung unilaterally.

Jung's important theory

Jung wrote the transformation and symbol of Libido in 19 1 1. In the preface of the book, he said: Middle age is a very important age, which marks the beginning of the rest of life. People will have psychological changes during this period. In fact, at this age, I just started an ideological turning point.

Jung developed his own theory in the process of self-analysis. At the psychoanalytic conference in Munich in 19 13, he put forward a new theory of psychological types, arguing that Libido has two basic movements: introversion, and the interest of such subjects mainly points to the inner world; Extroversion, the interest of such disciplines mainly points to the outside world. Both types of people need their own psychology to play their own value.

Seeing this, I can't help but sigh that Jung is really amazing. At present, it is generally believed that studying psychology is either because you have some psychological problems or because you want to be a psychological counselor. In my opinion, this understanding is a bit limited. In fact, everyone can learn some psychology, or should know more about themselves and explore their own value through some paths.

19 18 jung wrote a paper on the unconscious. He pointed out that all of us stand between two worlds: the world of external perception and the world of unconscious perception. 19 19 published the psychological basis of spiritual belief, in which he proposed two situations in which the collective unconscious would be activated. Seeing the contents of the following paper almost surprised my chin.

1922, jung started a dialogue with his soul in this diary, which was called "new book" at that time. One of the answers about religion is the best explanation I have ever seen. It feels like a mystery has finally been solved.

Jung divided literary and artistic works into two categories in his paper published in 1922: the first category of works originated entirely from the author's purpose; The second kind of work dominates the author. Jung believes that all works that dominate the author come from the collective unconscious. In this case, the creative process is the prototype image activated by the unconscious.

Frankly speaking, I have a little goose bumps when I see this. At present, the company that starts a business with friends is called Dark Light Culture. What I am doing specifically includes self-media, community and some experience classes. Our slogan is "Be the light in the dark and understand this short life". I can't say making friends with jung. If I am inspired by anything, it may be inspired by what he called the collective unconscious, or it may be explained that there is a demand for the market.

1926, Jung emphasized the importance of middle-aged transition in his book Psychology of Unconscious Process. This discussion, according to the current words, is very reliable and grounded.

The text of the little red book

I feel that the text is redundant except for the excerpts from the original text. There are more than 300 pages in the text, and I only take the words that occasionally shake my heart, just like lightning and thunder.

Compared with the lonely soul of that era, I think Jung is happy. Although he was not fully understood before his death, he was quite recognized, surrounded by family and friends. In the little red book, he insists on the torture of the soul, as if driven by some force, but seems to be following the road of happy choice.

I found the last chapter of the second volume directly from the catalogue, because the word "magician" was written impressively, just like the faint light at the end of the tunnel. I rushed all the way to the finish line without hesitation, opened the treasure chest and smiled.

The reason why I am so fascinated by wizards is related to my cramp some time ago and my sudden desire to write novels. The name of the novel is Lana's Journey of Magic Cultivation. Actually, I haven't written any novels before, and I haven't done any research on magic. I just think this topic is cool.

When I saw jung's conversation with Philemon, my mood at this time was beyond words, and there was an expression on my face that "the sea smiled".

In a word, this is a magic book that I think can summon Jung. The magician talking to Jung is called Philemon. To me, the magician talking to me is called Jung.
