Tianzhu Mountain in the western mountainous area of Qian Shan City, Anqing City, Anhui Province, also known as Qian Shan, Wanshan Mountain, Wangong Mountain (abbreviated as "Anhui Province"), Wanshou Mountain and Wanshan Mountain. It is a part (or residual vein) of Dabie Mountain extending eastward. Generally speaking, it refers to the mountainous area centered on Tianzhu Peak, its main peak in Qian Shan, and sometimes it also refers to Tianzhu Peak, its main peak (geographical coordinates are 1 16 27' and 30 43' north latitude).
According to aerial survey 1980, the elevation of the main peak is 1488.4m, which was re-measured by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping in 2008. ..
Tianzhu Mountain has the only ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic belt in China, which is the largest and deepest exposed metamorphic belt in the world. In particular, it is praised by geologists as the most beautiful granite landform in the world because of its collapse and accumulation landscape, and is also called "the leaker of the earth". Writers describe it as "mountain jungle" and "stone palace". 2011September was officially approved by UNESCO as a world geopark.
Composition of mountains:
Tianzhu Mountain is an integral part of Dabie Mountain extending eastward. The mountain is mainly composed of Wanshan (commonly known as Tianzhu Mountain in geological circles), which is located at the junction of Yuexi County and Qianshan City in Anhui Province. It is spread in the northwest direction, cutting the public anticline. The exposed area of irregular bedrock on the surface sandwiched by calamus-township head and Shuihouling-Chenlingtou fire faults is 65,438 0.20 square kilometers, and the contact zone with surrounding rock is mostly covered.
The particle size of rock mass near the contact zone becomes finer and the surrounding rock is silicified. Along the contact zone on the east, west and south of the rock mass, we can clearly see the so-called "marginal migmatite" composed of feldspar metasomatism, and its width ranges from tens to hundreds of meters.
