※ Remarks:

BWF/ Badminton World Federation (formerly IBF/ International Badminton Federation) initially distinguished badminton events according to their star ratings, with the highest being seven-star events and the highest level being six-star open events. Since 2007, BWF has cancelled this classification. The highest level is the first-class competition, namely the World Badminton Championship, the Olympic Badminton Competition, the Tangyou Cup and the Sudirman Cup. Followed by secondary events, including 12 Super Series and Super Series Finals. The minimum prize of Super Series is 200,000 US dollars, and the highest prize in 2007 is 300,000 US dollars.

The Asian Championship is classified as a third-class event. In 2007, there was the 10 Open with a minimum prize of 50,000 US dollars (equivalent to the previous one-star competition), but there was also the China Taipei Open with a prize of 200,000 US dollars (equivalent to the previous five-star competition). In 2007, the third-level events of the second prize were Spanish Open1.20,000 US dollars, German Open 80,000 US dollars, Peterberg Open 70,000 US dollars, and the other four open competitions in Thailand, the United States, New Zealand and the Netherlands all cost 50,000 US dollars. At present, the prizes of the Indian Open and the Philippine Open are undecided. In some level 4 competitions, the prize money also reached 50 thousand dollars. The 2007 Olympic Games Test Tournament and Southeast Asian Games are non-scoring events.
