On April 27th, 20 19, Liu won the women's singles final in Budapest World Table Tennis Championships with a big score of 4-2, and won the first women's singles championship trophy in her career so far.
Liu is a famous table tennis player in China and the champion of the 20 19 Women's World Cup. By May 2023, Liu had won 20 world championships.
