Mid-autumn night

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, a day for family reunion. As the saying goes: Things change, and heaven remains our neighbourhood. But this year we are not so lucky. It's been raining in Mao Mao since morning, and it's gloomy. It seems that we won't see the bright moon tonight.

In the evening, our family sat around a table to have a reunion dinner and chat happily. My brother and I ate round moon cakes and looked at the night sky from time to time. We couldn't help thinking of the Mid-Autumn Festival last year.

Last Mid-Autumn Festival, after dinner, grandpa and his family couldn't wait to come to the Han River to enjoy the moon. "Come out, come out," I shouted excitedly. The moon shows half of its face, shy as a little girl. Slowly, the round moon rose, like a big jade plate, like a fairy in white gauze, and sprinkled the bright moonlight on the earth, making it look like day. The moon is embedded in the sky. In the moonlight, I seem to see Sister Chang 'e crying alone. She is holding the jade in her hand and thinking about her relatives. At this moment, grandpa stopped me. "Look at that, it's beautiful!" It turns out that the shadow of the moon is reflected in the water, forming the moon in the water. The river reflects the surrounding lights and sets off the beautiful full moon, which really seems to be in a beautiful picture. Seeing this scene, I can't help writing a poem: the Mid-Autumn Festival is full moon, and the lake reflects the moon. The long river is like a picture, and our home is beautiful. After listening to this, everyone praised me and said, "Yes, I am in high spirits and can write poems." I smiled proudly ... what an unforgettable Mid-Autumn Night!

Although this Mid-Autumn Festival is a little regrettable, I didn't see Chang 'e's sister, but I had an equally happy time. The family is enjoying the festival happily, and the reunion dinner is the most important.
