1. The Asian Cup qualifiers will adopt the home and away round robin system.
2. The top two in each group and the best third in all groups will finally advance to the Asian Cup finals.
3. All Asian Cup qualifiers will be conducted according to the following rules:
1) On the basis of the home and away round robin, the team won by three points, drew by one point and lost by zero.
2) In case of withdrawal or strike, the Asian Cup Organizing Committee will reserve the corresponding rights such as punishment, and may change the competition schedule and related ranking rules.
4. Under the home and away round robin system, each group will be ranked according to the following rules:

2) If two or more teams score the same, their final ranking will be based on the following rules:
(1) In the mutual competition, the one who scored more points ranked first;
(2) In the mutual competition, there are many goal difference, ranking high; (excluding away goals)
(3) In the mutual competition, those who scored more goals ranked first; (excluding away goals)
(4) The goal difference in the group match is the first; (excluding away goals)
(5) Those who scored more goals in the group stage ranked first; (excluding away goals)
(6) If it involves the final round of the two teams in qualifying, the winner will be decided by penalty kick;
