Yanglin township synthesis

Yanglin Township is located in the center of Yanshan County, 38 kilometers away from the county seat, at the foot of Gexian Mountain, and adjacent to Yongping Town and Zixi Township in the east; South of Huanggang Town; Starting from Dongxiang Port in the west; Hongqiao township is connected to the north. It is one of the four ancient market towns in Yanshan County. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, it was Yangcun District. In 58, Yangcun Commune was established. In 60 years, it was named Yangcun Town. In 1984, it was changed to Yanglin Township.

The territory is a semi-mountainous and semi-hilly area, with high terrain in the south and low terrain in the north, hilly terrain in the south and hilly mountains in the east and west. Yanglin River runs through the middle, north and south, the west bank is a flat valley, and there are bamboo, pine, fir and miscellaneous trees in the southeast mountainous area. Yanglin rural area governs 14 administrative villages and Yangcun town neighborhood committees, including Yangcun, Zhongzhou, Changsheng, Ju, Wuyu, Yangzhu, Xie Ling, Changling, Chenjiawu, Shuang Yuan, Gaoji, Youyuan, Xiangyuan and Datian, and has 138 villagers' groups. The total population of the township is 19650, of which the agricultural population is 18636.
