Why is Hades not the Twelve Gods?

There are two views on why Hades is not the Twelve Gods, as follows:

The first statement: after the three brothers overthrew their father's rule, they divided their spheres of influence by drawing lots. As the eldest brother, Hades painted the deepest and darkest hell, and he was very dissatisfied with it.

Dissatisfied with his eldest brother Hades, his younger brother Zeus gave him a relatively independent position in hell to comfort him, that is to say, Hades was not governed by Zeus like Poseidon, and this position was equivalent to the king of ancient vassal countries, not a vassal. The gods of Olympus belong to courtiers, so naturally, Hades cannot be included in the Twelve Gods. This is one of the sayings.

The second statement: In fact, it is fourteen gods who enjoy the twelve gods, because there are different gods in different periods. In fact, Hades is one of the twelve gods, because he married Persephone, the daughter of the grain goddess Persephone.

In order to get Hades to bring her daughter back to her, the goddess of grain promised to give Persephone the seat of the Twelve Gods when she came back. Similarly, the other Dionysus was not originally, but the Kitchen God gave his seat to him, so there are fourteen of the twelve main gods.

Positive statement:

Hades became Hades because his father practiced a cruel rule system, but the Hades brothers did not advocate this system, so they jointly overthrew his father's cruel rule and pulled him down. Then the three men allocated the jurisdiction by drawing lots, and Hades was drawn to the underworld, so he was called Pluto, hence the name of Pluto.

He always rides in a chariot drawn by four black horses, holding a two-pronged halberd. If there are any obstacles ahead, he will destroy them all with his two-pronged halberd. If he went to the Yang world, he must have taken the victim to hades.

Hades handled the affairs of the underworld in an orderly way and strictly disciplined himself. He is not as lewd as Poseidon and Zeus. He is a cold and dark man, but he is fair and just, an awesome god and the most mysterious god among the gods.

In Homer's epic, Hades personally guarded the underworld. When Hercules wanted to enter the underworld, he stood at the door to stop him from entering, but he was injured by Hercules and had to go to Olympus for treatment. It can be seen that Hades is a cold man.

The famous story of Hades is that he married his wife. Hades lured Persephone, the daughter of the earth goddess, to Hades with a pomegranate, and they got married. The goddess of the earth was too sad to lose her daughter, and the earth was barren from then on. Persuaded by Zeus, Hades promised Persephone to return to his mother, but he returned to the underworld for three months every year and stayed with Hades in the palace of the underworld. These three months became the winter on earth.
