In 2023, the 10 Xi 'an Marathon started at Yongning Gate, and 35,000 runners from all over the world gathered in Xi 'an. The starting point of this competition is located at Yongning Gate of Xi 'an City Wall, passing through Bell Tower, Dongjie, Daming Palace National Heritage Park and other places, and the end point is located at Xi 'an Olympic Sports Center.
After fierce competition, in the end, Dong won the men's championship in 2 hours 10 minutes and 44 seconds, and Gao He won the runner-up and third place respectively. The champion of the women's group belongs to Huayang, with a score of 2 hours, 40 minutes and 24 seconds. Wang Min and Zhu Dandan won the second and third place respectively.
In addition to the offline contestants, there are also runners from all over the country who participate in this national road running festival in the form of online competitions. The online competition with the theme of "Six Years in West Malaysia, Watching and Helping each other" has continued the mode of linkage of sub-venues all over the country, and further enriched the atmosphere of West Malaysia and enhanced the sense of participation of all runners by opening up online and offline.
Xi 'an Marathon Timing Rules:
1. The marathon and the half marathon in this competition are timed by induction. The induction timing chip will start timing when the athlete passes the starting point (net timing), and the happy running event will not be timed. Marathon event champions are ranked by gunshot timing, and half marathon event champions are ranked by net timing.
2. The starting point, the turning-back point and the ending point shall be provided with timing carpets every 5 kilometers. Athletes must pass through all the ground timing carpets in turn when running. If the competition is completed within the closing time, but any time point is missing, the final result will be cancelled and no ranking will be made.
3. When the athletes report to the site, the timing chip will be distributed together with the numbering cloth and other items. One-off timing chips are used in this competition, and no chip deposit is charged, and they will not be recycled after the competition.
