World Table Tennis Championships in Durban: men's singles: champion Fan Zhendong, women's singles: champion, mixed doubles: champion Wang/,men's doubles: champion Fan Zhendong/Wang, women's doubles: champion Wang Yidi, etc.

1, men's singles: champion Fan Zhendong.

Fan Zhendong lost one game first, and then pulled three games in a row. In the fifth game, 10 to 5 won the match point, but Wang reversed the limit and pulled back a game with 13 ratio 1 1. However, Fan Zhendong seized the opportunity to defend the title 4-2.

On June 28th, 2020, the annual congress of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) was held online for the first time. Durban, South Africa beat Dü sseldorf, Germany, with 90 votes (69.77%) to win the right to host the 2023 World Championships, while the latter won 39 votes (30.23%). Durban became the second African city to host the World Table Tennis Championships after 1939 Cairo.

Since 20021,ITTF has continued to introduce a new World Table Tennis Championships final mode, that is, players/teams need to qualify for the World Table Tennis Championships through intercontinental qualifiers. The draw ceremony for the 2023 World Table Tennis Championships will be held on May 18. The draw for women's singles in table tennis: Sun Yingsha of14, Wang Yidi of 2/4, Chen Meng of 3/4, Manyu Wang and Chen Xingtong of 4/4.
