When traveling by plane, you can choose a window seat, so that you can see many good attractions when flying, but at the same time, it is also important to choose a window seat. After all, it can be said that it has something to do with the photos taken by everyone.
Which seat is better on the plane?
1. The premise of choosing the right position: first, judge whether the cabin is single-channel or double-channel.
When we buy a plane ticket, we must first find out whether to choose a big plane or a small plane. The technical terms are mainframe and heavy aircraft, narrow-body aircraft and wide-body aircraft or single-channel or double-channel aircraft.
To put it more bluntly, going up, there is a plane with only one aisle and seats on both sides. This is a narrow-body plane. If there are two aisles, this is a wide-body plane. Generally, long-haul flights are wide-body aircraft. From the overall comfort point of view, it is obvious that wide-body aircraft has more space and more spacious space, which is the best choice for travel and flight.
Comparison of appearance between wide-body aircraft and narrow-body aircraft
For example, if we want to fly from Beijing to Seoul, there are many corresponding airline models to choose from. Air China's aircraft are almost all narrow-body aircraft, while those of South Korea or Asiana Airlines are all wide-body aircraft. If the cost factors such as fares are excluded, it is certain that the wide-body machine is relatively comfortable.
2. Find out the difference between the two planes in seat and cockpit allocation in advance.
If you can only choose narrow-body aircraft (Boeing 737 series, Airbus A320 series), there are only six seats to choose from in the ordinary economy class, with an aisle in the middle.
If you can travel by wide-body plane, the window position on both sides (usually A or J) and the aisle position on both sides are the most comfortable.
After figuring out the previous problems, we began to consider the specific location. But ... but the problem comes again. There are hundreds of seats. How do we classify them? This problem is easy to solve. Check the airline official website in advance. As long as it is detailed, the airline will show you the engine room map in advance. However, you will find another problem. Why are the seats of the same model arranged in different ways?
In fact, it is easy to understand, because many wide-body passenger planes have different cabin configurations. Just as we buy a car with low, medium and high allocation, the seat part of each plane can also be regarded as a cost control in operation.
For example, the same Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, relatively luxurious airlines (such as ANA, Korean Air and American Airlines) have relatively loose seating arrangements, that is, the overall seating capacity is relatively small, and the space for each passenger is naturally large, so it will be relatively comfortable. However, these airlines may have higher fares, and buying them is never as good as selling them.
And those relatively cheap airlines, or Boeing 777-300ER passenger planes specially configured for passenger-intensive routes, have amazing economy class density (such as these planes of Air China, these planes of Air France and these planes of Air Canada). Once you get to economy class, you will see that the density is particularly high. If it is economy class, long-distance flights will be very tiring, but the ticket prices of these flights are generally low, and poor passengers are the first choice.
3. Personal suggestions on seat selection. Predicting in advance is very important.
For narrow-body machines, aisle seats and window seats are generally considered. You know, if you sit in the middle of three seats, it will be very uncomfortable. The window position can be more conducive to taking pictures, and the passing position is very convenient to go to WC or have temporary activities. If you can only choose from these two positions, you will definitely consider the window position, because after all, the flight time of narrow-body aircraft is generally short, and the enjoyment of seeing the scenery is greater than the unfairness brought by the crowded position.
For wide-body machines, if possible, never choose the fifth or sixth position in the middle. Being caught in the middle will break you down. Basically, I can only sleep, and going out for activities will disturb my neighbors. However, the wide-body machine itself is relatively large, and there are new problems in its structure.
In fact, many wide-body airliners have different seats in each row. The specific reason is as mentioned in the previous paragraph, the seat configuration in the cabin is different. If nothing else, consider the row by the window! Some wide-body passenger aircraft adopt 2-4-2 seat configuration (Boeing 767, a few old Boeing 777, and some Boeing 787 Airbus A330). As can be seen from some of the pictures above, the window position of two people in a row is particularly cool, especially suitable for couples to choose when flying. If you are single, maybe both positions can be ambiguous.
At present, there is a more flexible configuration, which leads to the change of seating order. 3-3-3 configuration is the standard configuration choice of the latest generation of wide-body passenger aircraft (Airbus A350, some new Boeing 777-300ER and some Boeing 787). This will improve the comfort of the middle passenger, but the row by the window will become three people. In this case, the choice of position must take into account the middle person, so in this case, you can choose a window seat or an aisle seat.
Finally, there is the high-density wide-body passenger plane we mentioned earlier. Basically, their seating order in economy class is 3-4-3 (Boeing 747-8 has some new Boeing 777-300ER), which means there are four people in the row between the two aisles. Needless to say, I'm sure the comfort of these positions will be very poor.
How to choose the window position of the plane
1. Four ways to grab a window seat
From a personal aesthetic point of view, I will not take photos in the aisle, because I feel that this position should be more suitable for activities or rest, and it is not appropriate to steal the portrait rights of flight attendants! Then, how to choose the remaining window seats? In fact, you really need to catch them! Because there are indeed limited window positions on each plane, there are four common situations:
Use the airline APP to choose seats 24-48 hours in advance: this is the most ideal way and the most convenient way. Since the well-known airline APP is blocked by the four major domestic airlines, we can only use the airline's own APP to select the location. For example, Air China's app has the function of check-in in advance. When you check in for the first time, you must remember to choose a seat in advance and grab a window seat.
Arrive at the airport 2-3 hours in advance, open the counter of the equivalent machine and be the first to queue up for check-in: this is the oldest and most primitive way. If you don't have a corresponding airline APP, or the check-in work of the other party is not in our company's charge (for example, the check-in work of China Eastern Airlines Japan is in the charge of JAL staff), then you can only rely on this method. You will see that in many airports abroad, many compatriots at home have long queues in front of the check-in counter. In fact, it is very practical to choose a good location in advance to check in. Tell the direct check-in staff that you need a window seat. If you arrive early enough, the average check-in staff won't embarrass you. Their service attitude is very good.
After boarding the plane, a kind person may change you to a window seat. It's true. It did happen. Generally speaking, parents with babies change seats to be better with their children, or couples change seats and sit together. They will give you a window seat. You must thank them for giving you the opportunity to see the scenery.
When the plane takes off, if there are many empty seats in the back row, even a quarter of the cabin will be empty. Don't worry, maybe you can find a chance to change it. However, don't be anxious during the take-off and launch of the plane and the subsequent climb. You should obey the flight attendant's arrangement, because if you change your position, it will cause related stowage problems and seriously affect flight safety. When the plane reaches the cruising altitude and stabilizes, there may be a chance to change it. The window seat is still yours. Don't worry.
2. How to choose the front and rear viewing angles after the window is locked:
There are also two kinds of window seats, left and right. You should consider the direction of the plane after takeoff. Choosing a window seat on the left and right is directly related to the scenery of the meeting minutes. This question may be a bit abstract for bees with a bad sense of direction. Basically, it only takes one brain to figure it out. There are too many factors involved here, such as the direction and altitude of flight, especially the change of light, which must be kept in mind!
For example, when I flew to Tokyo that year, I was wondering if it was possible to see Mount Fuji, the symbol of Japan, from the air. Later, I checked the relevant voyages and I did get it. So I made a detailed preview: If you plan to see Mount Fuji from the air and your landing airport is Haneda or Haneda Airport in Tokyo, then the plane will make a 90-degree turn to the south of Mount Fuji. At this time, if you sit by the window on the left, 80% of people can see the majestic Mount Fuji. If you choose to sit on the right, you may also see it, but the meeting time between them is much less than that on the left. This is a small gamble on timing. Facts have proved that no matter how the plane spirals down, the general direction will never be wrong.
First of all, in the first five rows of economy class, you can shoot the scenery including the wing and the ground obliquely to the rear. The wings only appear at a 45-degree angle, so the composition will be very comfortable. After all, there is a diagonal line to illustrate the flight status and flight landmarks, which is a common shooting method. This picture was taken with a mobile phone before landing at Fukuoka Airport. The quality is a little poor. Please forgive me. )
Secondly, economy class has more room to play in the five rows at the tail of the plane, because it is the best place in the cabin except the cockpit, which is very wide and has almost no obstructions. Because there are almost no obstacles in front of your camera except the wing tip, you can show it from many angles. If it is a medium focal length composition, it basically captures the whole wing. If you shoot with telephoto lens at this time, you can almost shoot the scenery in many directions outside the window. Relatively speaking, shooting from this position is much easier than the first 3-4 rows in economy class.
