What are the location and characteristics of Meng Xiao Monument?

Meng Xiao's tablet was unearthed in Bainijing, 5000 meters east of Zhaotong, and then moved to Fengchi Academy in the city. It is embedded in the wall and protected by the Han Monument Pavilion. It is the earliest monument in Yunnan. This monument is a valuable material for studying the history of ancient nationalities in southwest China.

The upper part of this monument is missing, while the lower part is complete. There is a dragon pattern on the left, a tiger pattern on the right, and a tortoise and snake pattern on the lower section. The stele is 1.33m high and 0.96m wide, with a total of 15 lines, with 2 1 word left in each line. Judging from the literal meaning, there are 7 words missing in each line.

This tablet is vigorous in calligraphy and belongs to the official script of Fang Bi. Horizontal and vertical, stretching from left to right, thin and simple strokes, elegant words. Its discovery not only broke the humble theory of "North Circle and South Circle", but also explored the traces of the evolution of Han Li and Jinli. It is known as the "treasure of southern Yunnan", "rare treasure" and "the first monument of ancient Han Dynasty", and dozens of people wrote inscriptions and postscript on it.
