Liu Ji (13 1 1 July1375 May 16), Han nationality, was a native of Nantian Township, qingtian county (now wencheng county, Zhejiang Province), so he was called Liu Qingtian, a military officer in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. In the ninth year, Wu Zongzheng granted a surname posthumously, posthumous title Wencheng, who was later called He Wencheng Gong.
