How can you read a compass?

/content/PrintArticle.aspx? Newsid=28405 is here! Play with the compass. What is Feng Shui? Geomantic omen is an environmental project of the earth. The measuring tool of magnetic field and orientation is mainly compass. A feng shui master without a compass is as absurd as a scholar without reading. So, even if it's just for window dressing, you need to buy a compass. What's more, it is said that the compass itself has the function of avoiding evil spirits. Be careful, don't buy a compass casually! An available compass first consists of a celestial disk and territory (as shown in figure 1). The outer square plate is called territory, and the middle plate is called sky plate, which means "the sky is round". For this reason, the compass is also called "New Year's Day plate". The surface of the celestial disk is divided into various scales and divisions, and the circular area centered on the compass is called Tianchi. There are many compasses on the market now-that is, just bare sky disks with no space. This compass can only be used as a compass. Please read the following precautions carefully when choosing a compass: 1, the sky disk and all layers on the sky disk must be movable, not too rough to rotate, but not too flexible. It is best to rotate smoothly by hand, but without manual operation, otherwise it will be difficult to locate accurately; 2. There must be two red lines crossing at right angles on the site, representing the equator and meridian respectively. The corresponding scales on the site meridian, Tianchi meridian, compass and sky disk should be 0 and 180, which should be completely coincident; 3. Test the sensitivity of the compass. Place the compass horizontally. When the compass stops shaking, take out the mobile phone or key chain and shake it left and right to see if there is slight deviation and vibration of the pointer. 4, try to pick a compass with fewer layers, and bite off more than one can chew. Some comprehensive compasses are even divided into thirty or forty layers. It's really not easy for a novice to understand. Generally, a dozen floors at most are enough, and only four or five floors are commonly used. (Figure 2)NO2. Understanding Compass With a comprehensive compass in hand, few people can fully understand it. This is because there are many schools of Feng Shui. When new schools come out, they often add a layer to the compass according to their own theories. So unless you are a master of various theories, you can generally be considered a master if you can understand more than twelve layers. As shown in Figure 3, these directions pointed by the magnetic needle are called "mountains". The compass divides a circle into twenty-four directions, that is, one direction every 15 minute. These directions are represented by twelve earthly branches, eight heavenly stems and four dimensions. The twelve earthly branches are Zi, Ugliness, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai. Eight days of work, namely A, B, C, D, G, Xin, Ren and Gui. It turned out to be ten days dry. On the compass, two heavenly stems are written in the central area, indicating that the central soil position is not in Yamanouchi. Four dimensions, namely, Gen, Xun, Kun and Gan. These are four images in the eight diagrams, but the four images used in the compass are based on their positions in the eight diagrams the day after tomorrow: Gen = Northeast; Xun = southeast; Kun = southwest, Gan = northwest. See Figure 4 for the sequence and orientation of innate gossip and the gossip the day after tomorrow. The twenty-four mountains are the basic directions on the compass, and four of them are particularly important, which must be remembered: meridian and base. This is also a four-word formula that the student number must know. Son = North; Noon = South; Mao = East; One dollar = West. On the compass, the order of southeast and northwest is south above and north below. This is also a place to pay attention to. Don't make mistakes. Now that we know the technical term "mountain", we should also know the "direction", that is, sitting on the "mountain" and facing the "direction". For example, the Forbidden City in Beijing is the "afternoon mountain direction"-sitting north facing south. In the future, we should say that a building faces the mountain, instead of saying something like "sitting in the sun" with a compass, so as not to make people laugh. Third. In the practice method of compass in movies, Mr. Feng Shui always mumbles before uncovering the red cloth covering the compass for use. They read the "opening spell" of the compass, and the spell for setting the direction of the mountain for the house (that is, the house) is: the sky rotates nine planets, the yin and yang are self-respecting, and the five elements occupy their respective positions, so as to avoid misfortune and return to harmony. But what we need to do now is not to determine the direction of the mountain before the house is located, but to measure the direction of the mountain for the house where we have lived for n years-to see its magnetic field and orientation-so don't say this spell. Ok, now, pick up your compass and let's practice together! The first step is to walk outside the door, seven footprints away from the gate, about three steps away, and turn to face the gate. The second step is to adjust the compass first, that is, to make the longitude of the venue, the longitude of Tianchi and the magnetic needle coincide. Note that the north-south direction of Tianchi meridian and the north-south pole of magnetic needle must be consistent, and must not be reversed! Step 3, put the adjusted compass level on your chest, and it must be level! Let the plane of compass be perpendicular to the plane of gate. If you don't have the kung fu, put the compass on the flat ground! Let the sideline of the site be parallel to the threshold of the gate. Unless your home is at noon, you will find that the magnetic needle no longer coincides with the meridian on the site, but has an intersection angle. Step four, please turn the celestial disk to make the Tianchi meridian coincide with the magnetic needle-step five, don't get excited and keep the compass level. At this time, let's see where the meridian on the site coincides on the celestial disk. Write down these two directions on Mount Twenty-four. The position of this meridian on the celestial disk is the mountain direction of your home. The side near the gate is "sitting" and the side near you is "direction". When you successfully measure the mountain of your house, congratulations, you have touched the threshold of Feng Shui.
