Wang Gao's life story

Soon, Zhao Gou, King Kang, assembled troops in Jeju (now Juye County). After hearing the news, Aric immediately told Empress Meng that Zhao Gou, the King of Kang, was enthroned. In May of the second year of Jingkang (1 127), Zhao Gou, King of Kang, ascended the throne in Yingtian (now Shangqiu, Henan) and changed his country name to Jianyan. Aric happily told the Queen Mother that the country was occupied! Immediately advised the queen mother not to listen to political affairs, and sent the suggestion, holding a personal letter from the queen mother to answer the questions. Soon, Song Gaozong and Zhao Gou assembled military forces in Yangzhou, and sent a lieutenant to make Guo Zhongxun meet the Empress Dowager in Bianjing, and the Empress Dowager drove to Yangzhou. There are many soldiers and horses on the road, and the road is impassable. The Aric family went south with the Empress Dowager and served the Empress Dowager with Guo Zhongxun, never leaving. After arriving in Yangzhou, Emperor Gaozong personally came to greet the condolences. Wang Gao was dressed in military uniform and met the emperor. The emperor had long heard of Aric's name, and this escort was meritorious, and he was named as the prince of Wangfu. Subsequently, Aric escorted the Empress Dowager from Yangzhou to the temporary residence of Jiankang (Nanjing), which was officially named as the Jade Dragon Queen. The emperor also gave Aric a house as a reward.

Three years after the proposal (1 129), Aric escorted the emperor to Mingzhou (now Ningbo, Zhejiang Province), and his retinue controlled the rebellion in Miaochuan and Liu Zhengyan, hijacked the emperor, forced the emperor to abdicate to the prince who was still in court, and asked Empress Yulong to go to court again. Wang Gao was furious and rushed to Pingjiang (now Suzhou) to meet Zhang Jun and Lv Yihao and prepare to rescue him. Miaochuan and Lu failed to defeat the enemy and fled to the south. The emperor returned to the throne. After the restoration of Emperor Gaozong, Wang Gao was promoted to be a teacher with the help of counterinsurgency and rescue, which can be passed down from generation to generation. In March (1 129), Aric escorted Gaozong to Pingjiangfu (Suzhou), passing through Biandi Village, Yidi Township (now Wangxiang Village, Taiping Town, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou), and felt that it was a treasure trove of geomantic omen, so Aric settled down at the border. With the development of Wang's descendants, their land was later called Wangxianghe, and now it is called Wangxianghe. The history of Wangxiang Village is even older than that of villages and towns, and the existing Phoenix Bridge in the Southern Song Dynasty was built at that time. Fei Xiaotong, vice chairman of the National People's Congress, wrote the inscription "Peaceful Prosperity" when he visited Taiping Town, which not only eulogized the era of reform and opening up, but also praised the vigorous development history of Taiping Town. Aric's original wife, Shi Zhao, and his heir, Xing Shi, were conferred titles by the imperial court. There are three sons, the eldest son, Wang Yi, the word I bought, the second son, Wang Duo, the word I Wu (a guardian), Shang, all born to Zhao, and the third son (one Xu Ye, one Xu Ye), an official scholar of Mo Ge, was born to Xing. Aric is both loyal and filial, and he can serve the country faithfully when the country is in danger. He escorted Emperor Gaozong to the throne twice. On the other hand, he paid great attention to the preservation and rhetoric of genealogy: his son Wang Duo was specially sent to Yue Fei's home in Lin 'an (Hangzhou) with Wang's genealogy for inscription and postscript. Yue Fei was deeply moved after reading it, and wrote inscriptions for Wang's genealogy postscript (see right-provided by Shanghai, Jiangqiao and Jiading) and Wang Shibao.

Taiping Street in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province is rich in cultural heritage and tourism resources, including buildings such as ancient houses and brick granaries in Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as historical and cultural relics such as Sanhuaitang, Song Taiwei, Aric and Wang Duo, heroes who fought against gold. Aric was patriotic all his life and settled in Taiping, the northern suburb of Suzhou in his later years. His eldest son later moved to Kunshan, known as Dongshazhi. The second son stayed in Taiping, named Zhongshazhi; The youngest son went to Wuxi, known as Xisha Branch.
