The compass always points north and south! Due north is the secondary direction, and due south is the noon direction. Its left-right direction is east-west. Due east is Mao, due west is unitary. Generally, it is divided into four directions: east, west, north and south, and then divided into eight directions: north \ northeast \ east \ southeast \ south \ southwest \ west \ northwest. There are 24 small directions on the compass (called 24 mountains).
