There are three different islands in the lake-North Island, West Island and South Island.
Known as the "Island of Entertainment", the North Island is located in the north of Dishui Lake, covering an area of about 235,000 square meters, and it is also the largest "pearl" among the three islands. According to the plan, North Island will build an amusement park with marine characteristics, including water world, oasis, game tunnel and blue whale performing arts center.
Occupying an area of about 60,000 square meters, Xidao is positioned as a business and tourist accommodation area, and two landmark high-star hotels are planned to be built.
South Island covers an area of about 6.5438+0.4 million square meters. It is a water leisure island with yacht clubs, yacht harbors and other facilities, forming a water sports leisure center with the ability to host large-scale international water sports events and fitness and entertainment.
In 2007, a huge stainless steel sculpture shaped like sails and shells was built in the center of Dishui Lake.
In addition, it is planned to build a landmark tower in Dishui Lake, towering into the sky. Visitors can overlook the Dishui Lake and the East China Sea from the top of the tower.
Along the lake is a scenic belt with an average width of 80 meters, mainly for greening construction. Here is not only a beautiful environment and pleasant scenery, but also a variety of hydrophilic entertainment activities, such as beach volleyball, sunbathing, fishing and so on. In order to improve the water quality of Dishui Lake, a new river was built in Nanhui District, and the Dazhi River was directly introduced into the lake. Through ecological and biological treatment, the lake became clearer. The whole city is built by the lake, which embodies the concept of harmony between man and nature.
The water quality of Dazhi River, the water source of Dishui Lake, is poor, which is generally Grade V. The ecosystem of Dishui Lake is fragile and the water body is eutrophic. From 2006 to 2008, the annual average eutrophication index (TLI) of lakes exceeded 70 for three consecutive years, and the transparency decreased year by year. Nitrogen and phosphorus are the most important factors of pollution in Dishui Lake.
