Second, Yongzheng sent people to choose tombs in the Qing Dynasty, but was told by his men that there was no blessed land. Therefore, according to the precedent that the emperors of the Tang Dynasty were not buried together, the site of Qing Xiling, not far from the imperial city, was chosen to build the mausoleum.
(Because Qianlong was not buried in the Qing Xiling with Yongzheng, later emperors chose to build tombs in the Qing Dongling and Qing Xiling respectively)
