Fei Ju was one of the twenty-four generals in Huaixi in the early Ming Dynasty. He helped Zhu Yuanzhang successfully recruit the Zhangjiabao militia and expanded his power. He took part in Zhu Yuanzhang's early war based on the south of the Yangtze River, and then successively pacified Chen Youliang, Zhang Shicheng, Fang Guozhen, Chen Youding and other separatist forces with the army, making contributions to the establishment and unification of the Ming Dynasty. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Fei Ju followed Fu Youde to pacify Yunnan and Dali, to pacify the local barbarian rebellion, and to pacify Guangnan, and to defend Yunnan, Guizhou and other places, which contributed to the stability of the Ming Dynasty frontier.
