Yongjia has been named as the county name since 589. Yongjia means "water is long and beautiful". Yongjia has beautiful scenery and rich resources. Nanxi river, a national 4A-level key scenic spot with the reputation of "the first river in the world", is famous for its beautiful water, strange rocks, numerous waterfalls, ancient villages, beautiful beaches and beautiful forests. Nanxi river is 300 miles long, and the river is crystal clear, which makes people linger. The vegetation in the area is good, the surface water still maintains the most primitive water appearance, and the purity exceeds the national first-class surface water standard.

Natural scenery: nanxi river, a national key scenic spot, is located in Yongjia County in the south of Zhejiang Province, with a total area of 625 square kilometers. In the 1920s, Xie Zaiyongjia, an important leader of the early Chinese Communist Party, founded an independent branch in Wenzhou, which ignited the flame of the revolution in southern Zhejiang. 1930 In May, the 13th Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army was proclaimed in Yongjiu Village, Yongjia.
