First of all, the habit of eating rice
1. The growth habit of rice is high temperature, high humidity and short sunshine, and the requirements for soil are relatively low. The optimum temperature for seedling germination is 28-32℃, the average daily tillering period is above 20℃, and the optimum temperature for spike differentiation is about 30℃. At low temperature, branches and spikelets will differentiate and elongate. The optimum heading temperature of rice is 25-35℃, and the optimum flowering temperature is about 30℃, which will affect rice fertilization if it is lower than 20℃ or higher than 40℃.
2. Because rice seeds have the law of wet long bud, dry long root and cold long bud, seed germination is mainly divided into two stages after soaking. The 1 stage is high-temperature germination, the temperature can be controlled at about 30℃, and the temperature and humidity are uniform by spraying water regularly, and 80% of the seeds will germinate in about one day and night.
3. Rice must be covered after planting, especially when planting spring seedlings in early spring. The mulch can be old grass ash, fine fertilizer and tender Chinese milk vetch, and all seeds must be covered when mulching. Paddy field mulching can keep warm, prevent cold, prevent birds, increase nutrition at seedling stage and prevent salt from rising, so if rice grows well, it must be covered.
Second, how to grow upland rice
1. Before planting upland rice, low-lying and waterlogged land or water-retaining meadow should be selected, and upland rice cannot be planted on sloping land, sandy land and saline-alkali land. Before planting, soil preparation should be done first, especially if water is changed into dry land. Mechanical deep ploughing and rotary tillage can be used, and soil preparation can also be done by topping, so as to maintain backflow and improve soil moisture.
2. The lowest temperature of rice germination is 10℃- 12℃. When sowing, the sowing date is the main condition with good soil water content, and the soil water content is the main one under drought conditions. Be sure to step on the upper and lower grids when sowing. When the soil humidity is too high, it is not necessary to step on the upper grid to prevent the soil viscosity from affecting the emergence.
3. The growth period of upland rice is relatively short, with few tillers, and the spike is mainly formed by the main stem. The main measure of rational close planting of rice in dry farming is to increase panicle yield. Generally, the sowing spacing is 30cm, the sowing amount per mu is 7-9kg, and the seedlings are protected 15- 18000 plants.
