Legend has it that Ying Zheng, the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, later practiced tyranny, and the working people built the Great Wall of Wan Li. The Guanyin Bodhisattva pitied the people all over the world and secretly sent a red ribbon to every worker, making it easier for the people to start working. Qin Shihuang became suspicious, tortured the people, forced them to hand over all the red ribbons, and made them into "magic whips" to drive away mountains and fill the sea. No matter where he goes, no mountain is indestructible. Qin Shihuang whipped three lashes in Mount Dai 'ao. Dai 'ao Mountain was deified, but it did not move, leaving a magical legend that "three whips can't catch Dai 'ao Mountain". However, Qin Shihuang's three whips made Dai 'ao Mountain into three mountain passes, namely, big notch, small notch and Yangmeiguan, which divided the mountain into four sections. There is a Pingdingshan at the northern foot of the mountain, and the wind tunnel rock on the mountain is the second peak of Dai 'ao Mountain. There is a hole in the peak, full of aura and unfathomable. Listen to the wind whistling in the hole with your ears, pull the wormwood into the hole, and immediately dance and float out of the hole. There is a buddhist nun in front of the cave, called Wind Tunnel Temple, which was built in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. There is a thousand-year-old Paeonia suffruticosa in the courtyard, with strong roots and luxuriant flowers, which attracts many tourists every spring.
Too big a gap is Shibeiling. A row of stalagmites on the ridge looks like a guard of honor for ladies-in-waiting, surrounded by strange stone ladies-in-waiting, with suitcases, beds and cabinets. It is said that this is the testimony of the love story between the tenth wife of the East China Sea Dragon King and a simple local farmer. Crossing the lioness ridge is the peak of the mountain, which is located at the junction of Tonglu and Zongsan counties. At the foot of the mountain, there is an ancient temple called Hong Jun Temple. It is said that the ancestors of the Dragon King in the East China Sea were chanting scriptures before Ju 'aotuo Mountain. This temple was once abandoned, but now it has developed to a certain scale. There are many strange stones on the mountain, which has the beauty of a natural ecological forest garden. This mountain echoes the top of the Dragon King from east to west, as if Hong Jun and the ancestors of the Dragon King in the East China Sea were talking about Confucian classics.
Between the two mountains, there is a flat land of more than 1000 mu, which is the Yao family cemetery. This is a cemetery bought by Yao Jiahua at a high price in the Ming Dynasty, which is used to bury graves. The geomantic omen is excellent. There is an ancient tomb near the foot of the mountain. In front of the tomb stands a stone tablet engraved with "Tomb of Yao Gong Cui Lin, a calligrapher of Ming Dynasty". According to legend, this tomb was buried by Yao Nai, an essayist of Tongcheng School in Qing Dynasty, and the famous "Shi Yao Mushroom Tomb" was also buried here. Before liberation, only Yao's coffin was allowed to be buried here. After liberation, hundreds of thousands of graves were buried here for many years because of its geomantic omen. Every year, during the Qingming Festival, thousands of people go up the mountain to sweep their graves on Sunday.
The wonder of Mount Dai 'ao lies not only in its strange peaks, but also in its strange rocks. Fiona Fang, dozens of miles away, is better than a rock bonsai garden, and is known as "Guilin in middle and small Anhui". Throughout the mountain, grotesque rocks, lying or standing, rising or squatting, look like people and birds, and all kinds of animal tours are available. From east to west, caves, stone pillars and stalagmites emerge one after another. Located on the west side of Longwangling, the front hole is large and the back hole is small. Tiger Claw is marked on the cave stone, and dozens of people can be accommodated in the cave. People who go up the mountain to herd cattle often go to this cave to shelter from the rain on rainy days, and children who herd cattle often get into this cave to play.
Also known as "Miss Shi", it is located on the east side of Sanzhen Temple. Ten boulders are arranged in turn, like ten beautiful women, lifelike. The big monkey stone, the little monkey stone, the toad stone, the tortoise stone, the tauren stone and the oilsalt stone on the mountain opposite the temple have their own merits and are wonderful. There are also some scenic spots, such as sightseeing sky, fairy house, flying stone and ascension.
Where there are mountains, there is water, and water is flowing. Dai 'ao Mountain has dense forests and beautiful ecological environment. Many streams converge at the foot of the mountain, forming three reservoirs, namely Zengzhuang Reservoir, Jiangzhuang Reservoir and Hantang Reservoir, which are designated as "Small -2" reservoirs at the provincial level. Fiona Fang's dozens of miles of Dai 'ao scenery are concentrated in these three reservoirs, and the mountains are reflected, which is amazing. The water in the reservoir is crystal clear, fish and shrimp roam, and turtles play in the water. The water temperature is warm in winter and cool in summer, and even the once-in-a-century drought never dries up, which not only ensures the farmland irrigation of local residents and drinking water for people and animals, but also is the best place for tourists to fish. This boiled porridge is sweet, delicious and interesting. Many patients with incurable diseases can recover after drinking for a long time, so they are a little superstitious, which makes more and more pilgrims make wishes in the mountains. The village at the foot of the mountain is called "Changshou Village", where octogenarians, octogenarians and centenarians abound, with handsome boys and beautiful girls.
Dai 'ao Mountain is located at the junction of Tongcheng, Zongyang and Lujiang counties, with convenient transportation and developed four links. There are famous scenic spots and cultural attractions such as Fushan, Tang Chi Hot Springs, Zhou Yu's Tomb, Empty Old Street and Tongcheng Confucian Temple.
