After the eggs hatch into young fish, they gather together in darkness and are led by the parent fish, which is called "snakehead". Young fish are very much like tadpoles, but tadpoles have big heads and small tails, while young snakehead fish are spindle-shaped and appear and disappear from time to time when they are frightened, while tadpoles will disperse when they are frightened.
Catfish fishing should use small frogs, small loaches, small fish, big earthworms and other meat bait. It is best to use small frogs and big earthworms. Baiting method: (1) The use method of the small frog is to bounce the small soil frog to death with your fingers, hook it in from the anus of the small frog with the hook tip, and tie the frog leg to the hook handle without exposing the tip. Running water fishing: To catch catfish in the waters where rivers and lakes often flow, we should first pay attention to the following situations, that is, before getting off the hook, we should see whether the water is fast or slow, clear or mixed, so as to determine the depth of the bait from the water surface, whether it is far or near the water, and at the same time, we should master the speed of moving the bait. (1) If the water flow is fast, it will move slowly, otherwise it will move faster. Because catfish fishing is mostly for swimming, the walking speed is about 1.5~2.5 seconds, but the application should be flexibly grasped according to local conditions. (2) If the water is clear, the bait should be deeper than the water surface, about 25~30 cm deep, and the bait should be farther away from the edge of the water. (3) It should be noted that the effect of counter-current fishing is better. Because most catfish feed against the current, if they fish downstream, it is inevitable that the fishing rod is in front and the bait is behind. Catfish have quick eyes and strong sensitivity, especially in clear water. They dare not hunt when they see the fishing rod in advance, so the fishing effect downstream is generally not good. (4) To catch the flowing water of the bridge dam, we must catch the downstream, not the upstream. When getting off the hook, you should get off the hook along the edge of the downstream pier, not on the running head. Always move the bait up and down, not too fast, and master the speed of moving one step in 4 seconds. (5) Farmland pours water or heavy rain into ditches and ponds, and water drips down in the fields. Fishing such running water is generally very simple, as long as you gently put down the bait from the upstream, you can catch fish However, it should be noted that if the water is clear, you must put the bait down from the upstream and slowly pull it deep until the bait is about 30 cm above the water surface, and then gently pull the bait up and down. If the grass is dense, be sure to find a gap in the grass and gently put down the bait and move it up and down slowly. When fishing catfish in rivers and lakes, it is best to close the hook at sunset until around 1 1: 30 in the evening, and the best time is 4:00-7:30 in the morning. At other times, it is ok, but it must be mixed with water, and the effect is not good. If it is clean water, the effect is even worse.
Second, still water fishing: (1) It is seasonal, especially in spring, and it is difficult to catch catfish. Because of the low water temperature, catfish wake up after hibernating and swim to the middle of the water for food, which is generally impossible to catch. Generally, after Grain Rain, the minimum water temperature should exceed 15℃ before fishing. The most difficult thing at that time was that we couldn't find a small soil frog, so we had to use a big earthworm as bait. In summer, the water temperature is higher than 30℃, and catfish often swim in water areas with many aquatic plants or in the shade. So at noon in summer, it is best to fish catfish in waters with many aquatic plants or in shady places. If you encounter water chestnut and lotus leaf, hook the bait along the edge of the lotus leaf. If other aquatic plants fish bait from the grass, they should put it gently, not by shaking, not by dragging. If the water is clear, put the bait deeper. ③ Catfish fishing at night is the best, because after sunset, there is no bright light at first; Second, there is no intrusion from other animals; Third, when the water temperature drops, it just adapts to the catfish's foraging activities. All catfish swim slowly along the water's edge for food, so summer night is the best time to catch catfish. But there are also shortcomings, mainly because you can't see the depth of the water, the distance from the edge and the obstacles. The solution is to observe the terrain and water conditions during the day so as to fish at night. To catch catfish at night, you should also master the following points: 1. Pull bait slowly along the water, about 10 cm away from the water. If you use the shaking method, you can only shake it gently, and the bait can be 3~5 cm away from water and water. Second, we must grasp the timing of the hook. If the hook tip does not enter the mouth early, it is easy to unhook; Throw away your heart, catfish is sensitive and flexible, and it may not be rewarding to spit at any time. It is best to throw the hook when the catfish bites the hook and runs back. Third, walk lightly. Fourth, you can't shine a flashlight on the water. Fifth, don't speak loudly. Sixth, the speed should be controlled at about two seconds to move one step. Seventh, fishing catfish at night, no matter how shallow the water is, should be shallow but not deep.
(3) Catfish fishing in autumn is the best season in the whole year, especially from beginning of autumn to the first frost. Catfish feed along the water to hibernate. Both the shaking method and the dragging method are acceptable. However, if you encounter clear water bait, you must put it deep, and it is better to drag and release it. Since the first frost, the water temperature has gradually dropped below 15℃, and catfish fishing is coming to an end. However, if there is good weather, you can also get harvest in the water with water plants and twigs in the leeward at noon.
Precautions:
Constant flow: (1) mainly focuses on speed, that is, fast flow is limited to three seconds, medium flow is reduced by one second, and slow flow is reduced by half. (2) Grasp the depth, that is, clear water is one foot deep and mixed water is two and a half inches. (3) Adapt to the fishing method, that is, the clear water dragging method and the mixed water shaking method. The clear water is far away, and the mixed water is slightly closer. Still water, clear water, find a grass nest and mix water along the border.
Experience: (1) Catfish looks fierce and stupid when eating a hook. In fact, catfish is a sensitive and cunning fish, and all its movements are very flexible. If you are fishing in a ditch and pond with a fishing net, it will take at least 3 to 5 days to eat the hook. If you find a net fishing in ditches and ponds, don't hook it in. (2) Catfish is very flexible when biting the hook, so we must seize the opportunity, that is, we must throw the hook in time when the catfish bites the hook and runs back. When throwing a hook, you should master three essentials: first, be hard, second, be hard, and third, be fast. (3) The choice of fishing rod is also very important. Remember not to choose excellent bamboo as fishing rod. Because the catfish will run back when it bites the hook, if the fishing rod is too hard and inflexible and the catfish is sensitive, it can spit the hook at any time and get nothing. If soft bamboo is used as fishing rod, it won't work, because the hook tip of catfish is not particularly sharp and fast, and it won't hook into the mouth shell and is easy to unhook. (4) If you can see Feng Shui, you can see the topography of ditches, ponds, rivers and lakes. (1) Seeing Feng Shui means watching the weather. If you want to fish, you can only look for the water's edge with wind and waves, or where there are aquatic plants and water gaps. (2) Look at the topography of ditches, ponds, rivers and lakes, that is, first turn from ditches, tips, bays and protrusions. At the same time, it depends on the slope of the edge. During the day, the catfish look for the water with small slope to feed, and in the morning and evening, the catfish often swim to the water with large crossing to feed. Especially at night, because small animals in the water love to swim in shallow water at night, catfish often move through large waters at night. (3) Mixed water is good water for catfish fishing. There are two kinds of mixed water, one is mixed water and the other is mixed water. Mixing flour with water depends on grass and fishing along grass. If there is no grass, you must fish along the water's edge, either shaking or dragging. Remember not to fish in the water. If grass is mixed with water, fish by the water first, and then fish in the nest. If there are many catfish in it, you can also pay for fishing. Catfish fishing in green mixed water is basically the same as mixing water and noodles. However, it should be noted that green mixed water is mostly around ditches, ponds, rivers and lakes with many residents, so it will appear.
